URGENT: PLEASE HELP!!! The woman that was hit is a relative of my family. She has undergone surgery and is now in ICU in a coma. Please, please share this and let's get this SOB that hit her and has not yet been found or turned himself/ herself in. They literally hit her and then ran her over in broad daylight, then left the scene. She, her children and the grandchildren of this lovely woman deserve to have justice. Any information to help apprehend the driver is appreciated. Description of the vehicle in news report. "Police describe the vehicle as a black Ford F-150, 4-door with large 4x4 decal by the tailgate passenger side." Thank you.

On Jan 8, my son realized he'd lost his bus pass when he tried to go home after his co-op at Tecumseh Mall. The lost and found at the mall did not have it, luckily he had enough money to pay the fMal to get home.
A few days later, I thought I'd call Transit Windsor about it, and they had it! Someone had turned it in. I'm sure that person will never see this, but I want to let people know how much it is appreciated when they do the right, honest thing. You taught a teenager that there are decent people out there. And more importantly, he learned how good a small act of random kindness can make a difference. Thank you!
I had surgery for a deviated septum on Friday Jan.15,2016..I wanted to say that all the staff at Met were amazing I wish I could thank all of them individually but unfortunately I don't remember all their names..the doctor was Linda Tietze who did a great job on my nose so thank you and a special thank you to the ladies that helped me tremendously after I woke up in recovery as I was a mess and in severe pain one of them was named Terry ,if any of you are reading this thanks so much for everything it meant alot and made the recovery that much more bearable,
sincerely a very grateful patient :)
A group of 16 year old young men ended the night celebrating a birthday, by stopping by the McDonalds near LaSalle on Ojibway.
An older man in his 20's was under some influence and after being loud and obnoxious made his way to the door but stopped to pick a fight with one of the young men. Asking "Do you have a problem Bro? We can take it to the parking lot right now"
The 4 young men sat and said nothing! You continued to taunt and pick on one boy of the group. You continued to tell the boy to fight you outside. For NO Reason!
I was tempted to share the photo that was taken of you, sitting at the table next to the young man you tried to belittle. With your face inches away from his, and he is clearly uncomfortable. Then you got up stealing 3 burgers from them. I thought that by maybe sharing your photo, your family would see it and recognize your shameful behavior. I wonder how proud they would be?
But then I realized by posting your photo, the repercussions of your actions could possibly only bring more hate and violence.
Shame on you, for being a reason I worry about my children when they are out of my view.
Now, to the group of men who walked into the McDonalds missing most of the incident, but hearing the Jerk try to fight the young men. THANK YOU for not just being a bystander and intervening. You Sir made me proud that you did what you did and said to the Bully. I wish there were more people like you!
On her birthday, Jan. 14th my beloved mother Shirley was taken by ambulance to emergency at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Thanks to the emergency staff, they discovered she had a perforated bowl which left undetected, would have ended her life. She was in so much pain and very afraid.
The people in emergency were so kind and caring to her and my family. They took the time to run the appropriate tests and explained what my mom was up against in detail. Mom was taken for emergency surgery within 5 hours of going to hospital.
I'd like to give a special shout out to the OR team who performed the life saving surgery and nurses Bobbi and Giovanna at the Intensive Care Unit for the amazing after care.
Thank you for saving my mother's life.
My wife and I were out for date night and decided on Eastside Mario's for dinner. Sarah had asked the waitress if it was table salt or sea salt in the shaker and not sure she went to ask her manager "Dick". The manager came up to our table personally and confirmed it was Sea salt (of course I knew that lol) then asked us if we like sea salt he has a bunch in the back he's getting rid of but wasn't sure what to do with them. After explaining to him how I work at the Downtown Mission of Windsor and if he ever has stuff from his restaurant he wants to get rid of we take donations, he went into the back and before we left he came out and gave us a box full of salt and pepper shakers to donate towards the Mission. To some this might not be much but to those in need it was plenty and we wanted to make sure you got the recognition you deserve for your selfless act Dick of Eastside Mario's in the Tecumseh mall Thank you so much!!!
To Caiti, this lady is amazing! She gave away her wedding dress to someone for free and turns out it didn't fit her so she choose to give it to me. All the messages she received from her post on Facebook she chooses me!! I went to pick it up today and the dress fit me perfectly like it was meant for me!! I cried when I put it on. It is so amazing that she has done this for me. You are truly an angle to me and I will be thankful the rest of my life to you. I hope one day this huge gesture is returned to you, you are an amazing women and you will always be a part of my life and heart forever!!
I NEED YOUR HELP! Please share!
If anyone sees a WHITE NISSAN with the front of the car that looks like it was in a bad accident please get the license plate and send it over to me!
Our car was hit Elliott W downtown at 2am. We think it was a drunk driver. It was parked on the side of the road and they completely smoked it and destroyed it!
