Hey
I lost my wallet on my way to the train station Monday night, if anyone found it please let me know is really important and Im willing to give a reward for it, just email me and I will give you a description of whats inside of it.
Thank you and have a good day.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the anonymous woman who found my purse in a shopping cart at babies r us today and handed it in to the store. Your honesty is very much appreciated. I am grateful that you found it!
Yesterday I was at a funeral for my moms dear friend of over 50 years. On the way to the cemetery going down Ouellette a red car...not sure of the make...cut in front of us and put it's four ways on like he/ she was in procession, but didn't have the flag on it's car which made me realize that he/ she was not part of the procession. As we proceeded over the over pass he/ she quickly got out and turned left on Eugenie. I just want to say you've been spotted and cannot believe how rude and disrespectful you are...you were in that much of a hurry you could not wait...and besides that we were in the right lane and you ended up turning left! As we proceeded I realized there are really good people out there as a lot of cars pulled over to the side and waited for the whole procession to pass...thank you! I hope you see this and I hope no one ever does this to you when you are grieving a loved one...Karma works in mysterious ways!
Today at the hospital we had no cash and we're trying to pay by credit card. The machine often won't work according the lady behind us who stepped forward to pay it in cash for us. I don't know her name but she works at the hospital. I so appreciate your generosity! We will pay it forward.
On Monday's my mother and I usually workout together in the mornings and we decided to go to the GoodLife by Tecumseh Mall because we have never been to that one before. When we walked in, a male and a female had greeted us with big smiles on their faces, wishing us a good workout and the one girl had noticed we had never been to that GoodLife before so she offered to show us around. We said we would love that and as she was showing us around, I failed to notice that my mothers shoe was untied...so this lovely girl that was showing us around paused in the middle of her sentence and starting tying my mother's shoe. I was so touched with how friendly and down to earth she was. Also when we left, me and my mom felt like we were cared about by everyone who was working there that day. We decided to go to that gym more often, no matter if it is an extra 10 minutes away from where we live...i have never been so happy leaving a gym before! thanks to the GoodLife team for giving me and my mom a rememberable experience.
To the young couple who was finishing their meal at the Keg on Saturday. Thank you so much. After our meal, we were presented with a Creme Brulee for dessert. You overheard that it was our anniversary and decided to treat us to dessert. Unknown to you, my father-in-law passed away on January 16th and it was his favorite dessert. Thank you for making a great night out even more special.
Last week I sent out a request on Facebook asking my friends at work to TP (toilet paper) my desk for my birthday... odd request right?! well here's the story about how I work with some amazing individuals. I seen a post on the Windsor Youth Centres fb page asking for donations of toilet paper as they were in need. So after I posted my status two of my close friends who I work with desided they will secretly accept my challenge and they sent out a mass email at work asked for TP donations or money and they would purchase it. They turned my desk into a TP castle as a suprise for my birthday using all they collected and purchased. By the end of the day I was able to donate approximately 1040 rolls of toilet paper to the Windsor Youth Center. This is all thanks to the amazing people I work with at Farrow!! I brought my 4 year old daughter, 7 year old niece and mom with me to drop it all off and we couldn't stop smiling. The people at the WYC were so appreciative that they made us feel so good for thinking of them. I truly am so greatful for the amazing people I work with. Thank you for helping me turn my birthday into a day to help people on our community at the WYC.
I witnessed something disturbing. I was parked beside a car in a parking lot today here in windsor. The car belonged to old man who seemed to have trouble walking to his destination. I looked inside the car and saw that the entire back seat and passenger seat were completely filled up with fast food bags and miscellaneous bags, things that belong in the garbage. They were all very neatly placed. THIS ISN'T WHAT I FOUND DISTURBING! it was all the people who walked up to it laughing, pointing and taking pictures. I was stunned and very taken back of how ignorant people can be. What they were so blind to see is that this is a human being who lives with a mental health issue. Hoarding isn't something to laugh at. My hopes are by sharing this situation it might change your perspective of how some People live.
