Monday I was at the E.R. Dept at Met Hospital before being admitted. Although the wait was extremely long, the nurses realized the severity of my pain and I was brought in rather quickly. Once in the room I had an Amazing nurse Ellie (sp). She was Awesome and caring. Actually all the nurses did a great job considering all the work they have and the shortage of rooms they deal with. Once I was moved to the 5th floor the nurses on that floor were again nothing short of Awesome!! They are over worked and still they showed compassion and a joy for their job. I quickly realized that they have to deal with so much and some ornery patients and they all showed me how to do this with my own job. They were patient and kind with all of us and never showed any sign of frustration. To ALL the Nurses at Met, YOU All have been spotted and thank you from one Grateful patient.

Tonight February 24, 2016 while at the Devonshire Mall between 6 - 7:45pm while their daughter was participating in a Girl Guide/ Scouting event celebrating Thinking Day week a family had their van stolen.

A couple weeks ago I went to the Windsor Youth Center with a donation of toilet paper. One of the many people that helped by donatig TP to help support my bday wish has deside to continue to pay it forward. TISH is very busy working full time while taking care of her mother; but she found time to purchase some toothpaste and toothbrushes. She gave them to me and asked that my 4 year old daughter and I donate them to the Windsor Youth Center. TISH thank you for continuing to think of others. You didn't just help the Windsor Youth Center but you are helping teach a young child how good it feels to give to others. My daughter took each item out of the bag with a big smile on her face and handed them to the women working. My daughter was so proud of what she was doing and told me when we left 'God is happy' Thank you Tish for being the reason for that moment. Tish You have been spotted!

Today I had the chance to volunteer at iclimb along with a lot of amazing volunteers. The thing I enjoyed to see the most was Windsor Police and other stations interacting with young people. I heard really nice comments from a few kids who were shocked to see Officers going up and down the stairs with them, talking with them... and a lot more! It is wonderful to see them all interact with the younger generations! Cecilia G. (?not even attempting last name) this officer was AMAZING I could not believe how wonderful she was with the kids and anyone else she came into contact with. It made my day brighter to see all the officers with these young people, Thank you to all of you...

My cat Snickers did not come home this morning. He goes out nightly because he impossible to keep in the house. He is always at the door early in the morning. We are in south Windsor area Askin Ave. and Grand Marais. He is medium to large (larger than pictured), lean, brown tabby, & approximatley 5 yrs. old. He was wearing a collar with a bell on it. I went to the hospital in the morning to pick up my husband who was admitted since last night. The weather as you seen was brutal. .freezing rain, high winds...as soon as I got to Met hospital I circled 15 mins before I realized I wasn't going to find a parking spot because it was full..I decided to use Rafih Auto Valet services at the hospital. The Valet worker that was working had one of the best customer service I have ever experienced. As soon as I got into my husband room I realized I forgot my phone in the car . I called the number from my husbands phone on the Valet card and he had already parked my car, but he advised he doesn't mind bringing my car back to me so I can get my phone . He brought the car right to the door and parked my car again. As soon as I got back in ..10 mins later the doctor released my husband from the car and I called Valet to let them know we were leaving but from the emergency side which is not on the Valet side. Again he didn't mind bringing our car to the other side of the hospital. Once we got the car we offered him a ride back to his destination because it was a far walk and he didn't accept because he was being professional. All this great services and I found out someone had stolen his wallet with his credit cards and ID inside . Even when he was having the worst day he made sure mine was going to be good

To the person driving from LaSalle this morning around 6:00am. I was turning left from the Tim Hortons light on a GREEN light..you know the little white car that you almost smoked going at least 80km/ hr...what was your rush...what was so important that you felt the need to completely blow that RED light...were you so self absorbed that you didn't even see me?? You were one inch...I repeat one INCH away from seriously injuring me? Would whatever you were rushing for would have been worth it if you killed me?? Had I been a millisecond ahead you would have T-Boned me...is killing someone what it takes to open your eyes??? Cause I'll tell you mine were open and I've never been so scared in my life. You were driving a dark pick up truck...I drive a little Mazda..you would have won..my family and I would have lost. Tell me please what was so important that you ran that light...not a fresh light either as I was the third car in line..the two in front of me went straight...please tell me why my life means so little to you...what was so important..what's more important than another human being???

Found a Brindle type mix dog on 900 Marentette Ave. Very friendly. He's in my yard for now. Not sure what to do with him.
