To the lady who made me smile and feel so much better!!
Today I drove to work thinking about how rough the week was and how happy I was I don't work tomorrow. I was in getting a coffee and decided to purchase a $10 gift card for the car behind me. When I got to the window I told the lady I was leaving the card for the car behind me she smiled and it was nice to know I brought a smile to a persons face buy doing a good deed for someone else. I drove off feeling good and forgot how tough this week has been. I drove down Wyandotte and got through a few lights until I hit a red light. As I waited in line a vehicle pulled up next to me asking me to roll down my window. I did and an older lady asked if I can pull over. I was confused at first until she flashed the Tim Hortons gift card, so I said sure. This is where it gets good if you stayed with me so far....
I pulled over and so did she, she stepped out of her vehicle as I stepped out of mine and after a few steps she threw her arms around me and hugged me...I was caught off guard. She tells me thank you thank you about 100 times. We talked for a minute and she said once again before leaving that she thanks me so much and I am such a good person.
WOW That made me feel soooo amazing. Thank you so much for making me feel so great about myself and for making me smile like I haven't smiled in a while.
Signed a guy whose week just got AWESOME!
I wanted to say thank you to Cody who was in the waiting room and started talking to me, you really made me feel better I never told you my name but now I must my name is Kristen Gurr. I did not get your last name but I've been worried about you since you got called in. Please find a way to contact me. Thank you for your Support
I want to thank Jason at Petwise (Tecumseh Rd store between Hall Avenue and Moy)!! I went in there tonight to buy a pet crate and he was so friendly and helpful!! I know that the staff at both stores are amazing as I have dealt with both-but Jason really put the A in Amazing!! He went above and beyond to help us out, he even carried the crate to our car. You were very informative and helpful with our questions as well as just making us comfortable in the store. Thank you so much for your help tonight and keep up the good work!!!
I work in a medical office which is a bit out of the way for people taking a bus. I would like to commend the two amazing ladies in the Transit Windsor Vehicle # 215 who delivered an elderly lady who was lost to our office today! They also went out of their way to come back and pick her up and take her back to the bus stop! We often hear negativity about our transit system but let me tell you these two ladies went well beyond what they had to do! Kudos ladies!!!!!
I want to thank Jill Kanwischer for giving me the honours for allowing me to interview Windsor Fire Chief Bruce Montone on my radio show that will be on 100.3 Sound FM Radio Waterloo next Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 12-2 p.m. I will be talking to him about hiring people with disabilities and about his role as a Fire Chief.
I also want to thank Ashley from the 311 Call Centre for allowing me to leave a compliment as to how wonderful Jill was in helping me with my radio show along with Mary Anna the 311 Supervisor who took my compliment about Ashley for the great job she did in being so kind to put in my compliment for Ashley.
To all these people and to every Windsorite, thank you for being so kind and thanks to your kindness and your ideas of making Windsor a better community, I have decided to host my own radio show in order to promote kindness in Kitchener-Waterloo and the Region. Furthermore, these people made my day and I am excited to talk to the Fire Chief next week.
From the former Windsorite that wants to spread kindness. Also, you can listen live at http:/ / soundfm.ca/ listen/ .

Just want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Jordan Smith at Gus Revenberg. I have never dealt with such an understanding sales person who doesn't push you just for the sale of a vehicle. He is always there to answer any questions and quickly. He definitely makes sure he can get you the best deal on your old car as much as your new vehicle. He never makes you feel like you are bothering him with any question (big or small). He has understanding for each individual and their choices regardless of the silly questions you might have. I have bought a vehicle from him in the past, and any issues I have had he has dealt with immediately no questions asked. His customer service skills are what everyone working in sales should have. If you every have any questions or concerns, he is the guy you want to see. I appreciate everything you ever do and help me with Jordan!!! You always go above and beyond!! Lucky to have found you at Gus Revenberg!
Late this morning, I decided to take my almost 2 year old daughter and sister to the park to play. When we first arrived, there were 4 kids (no older than 16-17) on the playground rough housing and being inappropriate. We brought my daughter to the swings a little further away for a few minutes, thinking the teens would be considerate and maybe go somewhere else to hang out. Instead, they moved more central on the playground, throwing each other around, making out, innapropriately touching each other and swearing. I was not the only parent bothered by this and I WISH I had called the non emergency police to have them escorted elsewhere.
Let toddlers play on the playground that is rightfully theirs to play on and get back to school!!!!
A huge thank you to the man (mid 50's) that pulled his Black Truck over on Walker Road South - near Pier 1 Imports, around 3:00pm - to collect my wallet and its belongings. You are an angel - and words can not express my appreciation towards you. It proves that there are amazing and honest people still out there in the world. If you get this information I would like to reward you - I was completely frazzled and didn't pay it forward to you.
