Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Today at about 515 a.m. someone entered my vehicle on dougall and stole a brown briefcase. All contents are work related including GPS, CHARGERS, MTO LOG BOOKS, PERSONAL WORK INFORMATION AND A FAST CARD (FREE AND SECURED TRADE). I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THESE ITEMS.
If anybody finds these things please contact Windsor police or myself.
I do not want my name to be posted, but i want to give credit to this AMAZING woman Kayti Mokrzycki owner of Precious Megapixels Photography. She has touched so many peoples hearts with her kindness and talent in photography. Even though she is not a number one photographer, she has started photography to help people afford it. She always has the best interest of people in her heart and I will be a forever customer of hers. This to me makes her number one in my books.
After seeing this amazing photo she just posted with the words she wrote, I can see she truly does have all the best interest of the clients at heart, it takes one strong person to spend time with someone who has lost a loved one photographing & editing to include them in the best possible way with being able to stay professional yet understanding through it all.
She has gone above and beyond to give great affordable memories & I think a lot of people take her for granted, she deserves to be recognized on a site like yours for all to see.
Earlier today while I was filling my gas tank at the 7-11 on tecumseh and mcdougall I saw the cutest thing, an elderly lady was seated inside the store and was talking to an officer while his partner was outside with the vehicle. After a few minutes, he helped the lady up and held her hand while he escorted her outside, holding the door and joking with her like she was his own family. Then he and his partner hurriedly cleaned off the back seat and made way for her to get in. Her small stature seemed to be a bit of a problem when she tried to climb up into the big SUV so he gently picked her up at the waist and helped her inside. Assuming of course she's not the most adorable robber I've ever seen, I'm going to say that she was maybe having a hard day and needed some help getting home. Not exactly part of their job description but they carried out their appointed duties like real gentlemen and seriously the lady looked like she was having a good time. ☺ï¸
I was a little torn between not trying to be too nosy and wanting to offer to take her in my car, which would be easier for her to get in and out of but they handled it perfectly and seriously who would have wanted to deny her having two uniformed gents fussing over her ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Im confident she got home safe â˜ºï¸ it was just really nice to see.
To the woman hit by car at Devonshire mall today in front of BMO bank in the crosswalk, I hope u r okay.

Had the nicest surprise today. The truck was over at MSJ AUTOMOTIVE today getting ready for the road trip to see new grand daughter. There is complications with this little one so please keep her in your prayers. Long story short they rushed to have the truck ready for any last minute calls and there were two Tim Hortons cards with comments "thinking of you" "Hope all goes well" How kind and considerate of the staff at MSJ AUTOMOTIVE it really meant a lot. Words cannot express your kindness. Thanks Paul and Debbie.
I wasn't going to post this however after reading about the stolen bike in my area I have decided to write to take a chance somebody knows something
On Saturday March 26 sometime after 2:30 pm in broad daylight we had our BBQ and tank stolen right off our patio I might add this BBQ has been on our patio for 3 years now. After speaking with our neighbors he informed us that his sons bike was also stolen. We live in the area of Polonia Park and Seminole if anyone saw someone walking down the sidewalk with a BBQ tank and a bike please come forward. It is just sad that people feel they can take what is not theirs and not have a care in the world about the expense it cost those who now have to replace what was stolen. Thank you in advance.
I saw a cyclist cut cross three lanes of traffic in front of Tecumseh/ Dougall without looking. The cyclist struck a beige vehicle who had the right of way travelling straight down Dougall. Let this be a reminder to cyclists that they too are responsible for paying attention on the road! Drivers aren't always able to anticipate or see you when you're cutting across against several lanes of traffic. I am glad the driver of the vehicle was driving slow enough to compensate for your carelessness so that neither party was hurt.
