Need Host families for July ! Every year Japanese girls bless our city with a visit. They meet the mayor, they volunteer at the mission and retirement homes and they learn English intensely for two weeks at school. Host families get the evenings and weekends with their student and learn about another culture and it often inspires the host families' own children to want to learn a language and travel.

On Thursday around noon my elderly father drove his scooter up to the corner store on Jefferson and must of dropped his wallet on his way home. A teenage girl wearing a Tim Hortons uniform returned the wallet completely intact and wouldn't even take a reward for her honesty/ kindness. You have been spotted.

I was at Costco on Friday afternoon June 3rd . I found a ring i'am sure it has sentimental value, i would love to see the ring get back to it's rightful owner. I wanted to talk about my experience on June 2nd at Red Lobster. I had the most amazing waitress, Lois. She was so sweet, to the point where every couple of minutes, she made sure everything was going the way it was. After we finished and the bill came, on the back of the receipt she wrote, "what a beautiful family you have." After paying, she sat down on our table and began asking questions about Islam and Ramadan. She was surprised at what our religion served and the good that comes with it. As we walked out, she told us to come visit her again.
