Thank you to the young lady and her mom downtown today that gave me her parking spot and paid ticket stub for the city hall building. Also thank you to the man who offered the same immediately after. I've had a rough couple of weeks and a random act of kindness is just what I needed. I was in and out quickly and did the same for another man coming in as I was leaving. Thank you!

White Steiff Teddy

Hello, I'm one desperate mummy here! Yesterday I was visiting Windsor with my two little boys and we seem to have lost my son's beloved white teddy which he has has since birth. I suspect it may have been dropped somewhere along the high street by the castle, where there were lots of restaurants. Please contact me if you find it, he sleeps with it every night and is very upset! Thank you

Found jewelry

This is a Longshot. But a woman called the Dollarama looking for a specific piece of jewelry, I never got your name or number unfortunately. You asked almost asap as you lost it and we did end up finding your jewelry later in the night. I was hoping you'd call and ask again. If you lost jewelry last week or so at Dollarama call us back and just describe it. Best of luck.

WPS & Devonshire Mall Security Go Above and Beyond

My 14 year old son's purple HARO BMX Bike was stolen today from the bike rack close to the Moxies entrance at the South East corner of Devonshire Mall around 3:30 pm (by the bus terminal under the Cineplex sign).

Special thanks to Melissa and Robert from Devonshire Mall Security and Constable R. Brisco and his partner from Windsor Police Services for going above and beyond to help us look through video and try to recover his bike.

Video from the mall shows a Caucasian male, likely 16-20 years old walking up and taking the bike. He was wearing black pants, a black backpack and a grey shirt. He has short, dark hair. He left the South East corner of the mall and headed East

Fingers crossed that the punk thief has a conscience and returns it. We were driving over to the mall to meet the Windsor Police and my son said he hoped the their needed the bike really badly

Abuse Against Cyclists

I felt so bad for a young lady this morning on a bike in front of our apartment on Riverside Dr.This woman layed hard on her horn with a very angry impatient face to make the girl get off the road. There was a sports car tailgating the angry woman. There were no cars coming in the opposite direction. The girl on the bike was shaken and moved onto the soft shoulder while the angry lady and the sports car sped off. There were no cars in the other lane. If she was uncomfortable she could have gone around her. Slamming on your horn like that is enough to startle a biker further into the middle of the lane. Have some patience and common sense people!

paying it forward

I am a waitress at the main street diner in essex and this morning I had a table of 3 I deliver their breakfast and the little boy says a prayer before they enjoy their meal. The table across from them decided to say thanks to the little boy for the wonderful prayer by buying their meals. In return they decided to pay it forward to another table and so that's how my day was at work so for the next 8 tables people continued to pay it forward... And it all began from a little boy thanking God for their meals they were about to receive.

Young man at Windsor Crossing Dollarama

To the young man who works the cash at Dollarama. I want you to know you are great at your job. I know it can be hectic and not everyone is very nice, but you do a wonderful job. If anyone knows this young man who was working Saturday the 20th please forward this to him. He deserves to know his work is appreciated. I'm sorry you have such nasty customers sometimes.
