Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Unfortunately there is no end to the depravity of some people in this city. On Friday evening I was with my best friend at his office setting up for my stag party and doing some photography. We left the building at around 10pm, put a bunch of photography equipment in the back room and locked up both front and back doors. We returned around 3am to find the back door had been kicked in and all of my equipment had been stolen along with a monitor and a router.
This happened between Friday 1030pm and 3am Saturday the 27th at 950 Ottawa street between the autoshop and gas station and parent, across the street from 7/ 11
If anyone has any information please contact me by email, or the police. The case number is 2016-61967. If you were the perpetrator, and if you return the items to me I will forego pressing charges.
I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the TWO men who went out of their way to stop and help me at the corner of Strabane and Wyandotte Ave. We were waiting for the light to change, them in their car , me on my bike, when the light changed, my leg gave out, as it often does, due to a pinched nerve...I'm trying to get into shape and strengthen my back to hopefully stop this pain and nerve damage.... anyways.. my leg gave out and I went down and these guys went out of their way to stop, pulled around the corner and helped me get back to my feet. I was embarrassed to say the least , and I know I didnt thank them enough for their kindness... THANK YOU so very much ! Wish more people were like you... THANK YOU !!!

Well apparently the thieves are at it again..This time bundles of shingles stolen from our yard...I'm just so fed up by this behavior. Warning people that live between Giles and Tecumseh rd .Dougal and McDougal.. our area is being hit hard. They take anything not tied down..including plants.
We are lucky as we have a neighbor who witnessed the incident and we are in process of meeting with the police...
Just please watch all your valuables..
To the person who called the cops on the boy who assaulted the girl on Tecumseh road tonight. Thanks a million. You have no idea how grateful we are.
Thank you to the person or people that put a tarp on my car on Saturday during the storm on Lincoln Road in Walkerville. I had left my sun roof open accidentally and was in Kingsville delivering cupcakes to a wedding and had no way to get to my car. Thanks to your kindness in putting the tarp on my car, the interior was saved and there was not nearly as much water damage as what there should have been. I was so touched by the generosity and am sincerely thankful. Thank you!
On Monday, August 29 around 4:45, I witnessed a "bump" on the expressway. It happened where traffic is merging, due to construction, at Central Avenue. A big pickup (I took a picture) was anxious to merge, and in his attempts he hit the back left part of the car in front of him and bounced right off. It was a little blue car; I think a Mazda but I'm unsure. Both cars did keep moving. If they had stopped, it would have been a nightmare.
If the driver of that little blue car needs a witness or the license plate of the pickup that hit him, please leave a message and we'll connect somehow.
Looking for anyone missing a black and grey womens wallet. It is a clutch sized wallet. Found near Wyandotte and Lincoln.
Thank you to our Police Officers for protecting our town and citizens. I dislike phone calls at 4:00 am because it usually means it's something bad. This morning at 4:00 am we received a phone call from the LaSalle Police Department apologizing us for waking us. An Officer drove down our street and noticed one of our garage doors was open, he called it in to the station and they called us. The Officer waited in front of our driveway until we came out to close the door, waved and was on his way. Given all the recent theft in the LaSalle area, we appreciate the concern and the phone call. Thank you Officer and your team for looking out for us; we appreciate you! You've been spotted.
