Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To every single high school kid on the 1c about 750am yesterday and today, your parents should be ashamed of you. Two days in a row I got onto a full bus with three young kids and not one of you offered up you seat for them, instead you watched as I struggled to make them hold the bars and not fall. An older woman offered her seat to them, for which I politely declined, because my children, unlike you, will learn the social "food chain" lets call it. The kicker is even after that women set an example and offered her seat all of you just sat there and did nothing. You should all be ashamed of youselves, I was no where near perfect as a teenager, but ill tell you one thing, my parents definitely taught me to have respect for others.
Found around 1:30 Monday September 12, in Tecumseh on the 700 block of William.
I would like to say thank you very much to the paramedics for their kindness and patience, on the more than 1 times they have had to come to our home in the last 8 weeks.
Yes I know it is your job, but your kindness is deully noted
Your kindness has been spotted as well
My black and blue Diadora Modena bicycle was stolen from just outside the BMO at Devonshire Mall some time between 11:30am and 2:30pm today (Sunday, Sept. 11). The lock was cut and left at the bike rack, found by an employee at Golden Razor (if you are reading this, thank you for turning it in to mall security, I greatly appreciate it). It has a rectangular sticker on the right side of the bike frame (near the handle bars) that says "TERRA" on it. If anyone sees or hears anything, please email me at jefferymiddleton@live.ca or message me on facebook.
Thanks to the Hospice Wellness Band for the awesome entertainment provided during the LW Special Olympics year end party! It was nice to see so many athletes, coaches and family engaged playing instruments, singing and dancing to the great tunes!! Much appreciated!
Thank you for being concerned for my well being in the parking lot on Wednesday, September 7. It meant a lot:) you have a good heart...don't loose it!

I'd like to send a great big THANK YOU to Arthur Bobek and Rick Johnson, the two marvelous, professional paramedics who attended to my husband when he experienced a cardiac event last week. They didn't just drop him off at Emergency...they stayed with him in the hours until Susan, the wonderful emergency nurse, was able to get him a bed. They answered my numerous questions patiently and monitored the life machine he was hooked up to. They very likely didn't even realize how frightened both of us were and that they made the time pass quickly and the experience bearable. What a pair of professional EMS gentlemen we have looking out for us!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
