Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the nicest lady ever driving in the city of Windsor truck who was driving up when I got my car stuck in the ditch today., I would just like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming up to make sure I was okay and allowing me to sit in your nice and warm vehicle while we waited for Brian's towing to come. You were my angel today and loved hearing all the crazy situations you have been in just helping people all the time. I wish you the most happiness in life cause you truly deserve it. You made me such at ease after being a little shaken up. Just know your good deed didn't go unnoticed and I'll never for get you. Hope you read this just so you do know you are truly amazing. And again thank you for being at the right spot and the right time today to help me. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hope your not working that day. ☺️
This is to share a wonderful customer service experience that I received from Lorelyn. Lorelyn works at the East Windsor Walmart location. While shopping at Walmart, Lorelyn helped me while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. She was very pleasant, kind and patient in addition to being very friendly and helpful. I have let head office know about my experience because I think that when we come across employees who display such great customer service, that it is important that we take the time to notify their employer in some way so that they can get recognized for their efforts. Lorelyn, I hope that you are recognized and rewarded for your efforts and for being such a positive representation of your company. Thank you and Merry Christmas! :)

Thank you to the EMS, ER nurses and ER doctor at MET tonight for your great care when my son was having trouble breathing. From the paramedics who brought him in to the nurse who gave him a monster truck for taking his meds nicely, you guys were great. He was still playing with it on the way home. Thanks so much! @WRHospital @EssexWindsorEMS
Windsor friends; I need your help URGENTLY. My Mom and Niece had their home in the Lincoln/ Riverside area broken into yesterday, and had numerous items stolen (laptops, camera, etc.). My Mom had 5 or 6 memory cards taken, that contained the last year of all of her photos; the last photos of my sister, photos of my brother's wedding, all the photos of my new nephew, and many other important memories. We are desperately hoping that there is a chance to get at least the memory cards back. They were in a case like this:

I am asking you to please share this publicly, far and wide, in hopes that someone may see this, or find the cards, and return them to my family. We just want them back, no questions asked.
As a frequent guest to the Tec. Mall food court, I was shocked to see the treatment employees at the Subway endured by an employee of the HGS several days ago. I was in line behind the woman when she asked for ice to go with a cold drink from the fridge and when given the cup the store provides, she demanded a larger cup with a lid. When the employee explained that she had to charge full price for the cup since they kept count of those ones, she had flipped her lid about the price, yelling over to tell her friend at another food place that the girl was down right refusing her ice. Shame on this girl for not being more understanding and accepting what she was given and kudos to the fast food worker for keeping a level head about it.
A lady returned Cash she found at an ATM. She explained "I am on disability and was once a single parent of 2 so I know what this cash could mean to someone. Especially at this time of year". I wished her a special blessing and a Merry Christmas. Hoping good luck and happiness will also come her way. There still are honest Angels in Windsor!
To the lady at FreshCo Huron Church tonight,
I could tell by the way you barged in front of everyone to get through the grocery store door first that obviously you were having a bad day which is understandable because everyone has them. Your young son stopped to hold the door open for me but accidentally went through the same time you were trying to get your cart through the door. You stopped, yelled at him to get behind you, told him he can't do that, and gave him a dirty look. I felt so bad because he was just trying to do something nice and kids displaying manners like that is so rare these days. You continued to rage around the store and when I crossed paths with you again you were telling your son that you were going to punch him in the face. I wish I had been able to say something to you, to stick up for your son who you decided to bully. I hope today was a fluke, and most other days you are kinder to your child.
Please keep a look out for my wallet! It is a brown and black long wallet with all my identification in it including gift receipts for returns - NO cash in it! My name is Katie, please contact me if anybody comes across it!
