Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
AP 537**. I memorized the license plate number when I figured out what you were doing - lol!! I can't say thank you enough to the lady and gentleman in the black pick-up truck for paying for my order. It wasn't just the normal coffee and so I think you went far beyond a kind gesture. Thank you for your kindness. Wishing you both and your family a Merry Christmas!
Sat 9:30 AM. A wonderful lady bought me and my son our coffee at the Tims drive thru at Crawford and Wyandotte. Thank you very much. We are wishing you and your family a happy and joyful Christmas. This just made me day.
I would love to say Thank you very very much to the wonderful woman and her two daughters in the white suv type car who jumped out of their car ( at louis and wyandotte around 5 ish Dec 23) and handed me and my children 3 $10 tim hortons cards ... you have no idea what your generosity did and what it meant at that exact moment.
WE had just left the street help centre because we had donated to them . I was explaining to my children how fortunate we are and how blessed we are. How so many people go without the bare essentials and how people get caught up in the materialistic aspect of Christmas and forget its about love and helping others . I was explaining to my children how Giving is the reason for the season and that God sees everything and what you give will always come back to you in one way or another.....then out you popped with your children and delivered the exact karma I was explaining to them.
I am a firm believer that God puts people in each others paths and everyone's lives intertwine one way or another. Thank you for the goodness you are doing and teaching your children the true spirit of Christmas, thank you for helping me teach my children the laws of Karma and thank you for giving to our community in a time when it is needed.
God bless you and your family.. I hope you will also be rewarded for your kindness and genrosity.
Tonight at Devonshire mall (approximately between 6-7pm) I found a small bag with a gift card inside it on the floor in the middle of the hallway. I turned it in to the guest services booth near the Sworvski store. Hopefully it finds its way back to whoever purchased it...Merry Christmas!

I just want to take a moment out of my day to thank Michelle at Family Video located at Hall and Tecumseh. You excellent customer service skills need be noticed. The above and beyond experience that you shared and the steps that you have taken to ensure I would have what I needed before Christmas was absolutely amazing!!!!!! There are not a lot of people that would do what you did for me. This lady went to another video store to get a movie I have been waiting for as their delivery service UPS, seems to have decided to bring my delivery later than what was said to me. So on that note, Michelle, a special huge giant thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do not know how much joy to my heart was brought to me today for your generosity. I pray many blessings for you over the holiday season and I hope that someone pays it forward to you. I know I will pay it forward to someone in need myself. So again, thank you :) :) :)
Today I went through Tim horton's on Grand Marais and to my surprise my tea was paid for by a kind police officer. I do not know his name but the officer gave the cashier a large sum of money and advised her to pay for everybody's order until the money was gone. This was very nice and appreciated. Ironically I saw another officer in front of me and it sparked a conversation about the derogatory terms people use against them and how sad that is. We get to the drive thru and this happened. How ironic this only proved my point in the conversation. A big thankyou to the officer and others who serve and protect us daily!
