Found bank card

While walking through the parking lot tonight at Fresh Co on Tecumseh and Rivard just after 8 pm I found a Scotiabank bank card on the ground. I do not remember what the last name on the card was but the first name was Michelle. If your name is Michelle and you were at Fresh Co tonight and lost your bank card, I handed it in to an employee who put it in the customer service office.

Dancing Drywall Queen

To the lady working in the drywall store on Monday afternoon you have been spotted!!! JG Drywall and Painting in the 3300 block of Tecumseh. I was parked outside your store to look at the damage to the record store that I shop at and saw you dancing. It looked like you were dancing to Spanish music and I just wanted to tell you you were really good it put a big smile on my face after learning that my favorite record store was destroyed. One of the other store owners told me that your store was robbed last week too, so it was really nice to see someone who just dealt with catastrophe be positive and enjoying the day. A lesson for everyone to make the best of their day no matter what they are going through. Today you made me smile.

Thank you Nurse Angels at Devonshire Mall

January 19th at noon in the Food Court at Devonshire Mall I'd like to give a big Thank-you to (RN) Kelly and her 2 (RN) friends who assisted my mother when she became ill. They moved into action when they saw I needed assistance. Thanks for your caring ways in assisting my mom before the ambulance came. It's nice to know there are still angels in the world today. A big Thank-you to the Devonshire Mall paramedics and the Windsor paramedics for their assistance as well. The system worked quickly together to get the care we needed. Thanks so much.

So grateful, thank you.

Yesterday, while walking with my young daughters into Devonshire Mall, I fell in front of the BMO entrance. Already having a broken foot, getting up was proving a little difficult. Many people stopped to help me and my girls, and with the strength of 2 very kind gentlemen, I was back on my feet in no time. Days like this, remind me of the kindness that still very much exists in our city. Thank you for all who took time out of their day, to ensure my girls and I were okay.

Thank You with All My Heart!

On Friday afternoon I was at Costco when my 4 year old granddaughter suddenly went limp and lost consciousness. When I ran to the front of the store with her in my arms and yelled for someone to call 911, customer Todd Dupuis, who is CPR and Safety trained, immediately came to my aid and the staff at Costco immediately sprang into action. One employee called 911. Other employees directed us to a medical room with a bed and another employee calmed my 8 year old granddaughter, who was terrified. Costco employees were stationed at each entrance to get the ambulance to us as quickly as possible. By this time, my 4 year old granddaughter was going in and out of consciousness. A huge Thank You to Todd Dupuis for knowing what to do and keeping her engaged until EMS arrived. A big Thank You to the EMS gentleman who arrived first, attended to her and told us she was going to be okay. A big Thank You to the two Paramedics who attended to her and took her to the hospital in the ambulance. I couldn't go in the ambulance with her because I had my other granddaughter with me. They knew she was scared going in the ambulance without me and made the ambulance ride sound like it was going to be a great adventure. And last, but definitely not least, a big Thank You to my 8 year old granddaughter. Once the Costco employee calmed her down, she was able to answer questions from the Paramedics and EMS that I couldn't answer. She answered the questions so well and so calmly that one of the Paramedics asked her if she had ever thought of becoming a doctor, which put a big smile on her face.

Thank you to everyone with all my heart. I wish I knew all your names so I could Spot each one of you personally.
