Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Earlier today (Feb 9th) my husband and I stopped at the Tim Horton's at the Pioneer on Walker Rd for coffee on our way to Superstore. As we pulled up to the order window, my husband rolled down the window. Through the speakers came the sultry velvet tones of the employee, singing (Welcome to Tim Horton's , how can I help you?) . My husband, being a smart alec, sang our order back to her. I ended up laughing so hard that I had tears !!! As we were leaving, after paying for our order, and me listening to the two of them sing instead of speak, my husband decided to sing "Tomorrow, tomorrow, we will see you tomorrow, its only a day away!"
I want to give this employee a super huge shout out for loving her job and the customers! It was a wonderful moment in time, and it was so good to see an employee loving her job so much! I hope we made her day, as much as she made ours! We need to see more employees that work with the public having so much fun. It is contagious!!!
URGENT!
BAILEY and KAHLUA have still not been found yet.
These are two goldendoodles within the Harrow/ Essex area.
So far we have received a tip from someone stating that they were spotted on Tuesday morning near Ridge Rd dragging their leashes (not 100% confirmed if this was them). ** The other sighing was confirmed that it was NOT Bailey**
We are assuming they have travelled far by now so we have expanded our search into Kingsville, Harrow and more backroads.
We have called all the local dog pounds and humane societies within the area, as well as the police multiple times. But still no sightings. I have also posted on Kijiji, another Missing Dog group on FB, and a few Buy and Sell websites. Tonight I will be handing out posters.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS & lt;3

To the gentleman at the Tim Hortons on Sandwich around 8am today(Thursday Feb 9th) driving the silver Cadillac. You then turned into the Vollmer parkinglot. Thank you for buying my daughter and I our morning treat. You provided me with an amazing positive teachable experience for my daughter.
To the ignorant young girl driving past my brother-in-law's father's funeral procession today in Lasalle. As all of us were on our way to lay him to rest, you must have thought we were such a big inconvenience to your day that you so graciously shot the finger to each and every car that passed you by. Please know that you were noticed and I feel sorry for you as you were clearly never taught to respect the dead. May God forgive you for your heartless actions today.
I just had to say a big thank you to the nice gentleman at Costco in Windsor Saturday morning. He seen me get to my car with a full cart. I know he wanted my spot, but instead of waiting, he gets out of his car comes over to me and starts helping me unload all my stuff in my car. Even tells me not to forget my purse in the cart, I couldn't believe how nice some people really are. You sir, made my day and maybe you are from Leamington, who knows, but I just wanted to let you know that you have been spotted thanks again!!
I just want to thank the kind man in the riverside area who we always see shoveling and salting the sidewalks in our neighbourhood. Recently, a scheduling mix up caused us to leave our son Kevin at the house by himself for a short period of time, when we got home everything was fine but he told us that when he ran into some trouble you were in the neighbourhood and were able to help him out. We sincerely appreciate you looking out for the neighbours.
To the person who hit my bf's Charcoal coloured dodge ram in the parking lot of Fresco east. He parked in a spot and a half due to the snow on the side and you still managed to side swiped his truck!!!! Now WE have to incur the cost to have it repaired. Hope you are satisfied with yourself.
I would like to take a moment to give a shout to my daughter Mya.
She's in first grade and was given a 100 days of school project. She decided she wanted to collect 100 cans of cat food and donate it to the "Pet society" aka the Windsor Essex Humane society.
After reaching out to friends and family to help her, she completely blew her goal out of the water!
This Saturday she dropped off 436 cans to WECHS and I am so incredibly proud of her.
