Lost cat

Our cat (Gulliver) left his yard (George Ave) late Thursday night early Friday morning and has not returned home. Missing him terribly. He is wearing a rainbow stripped collar. We hope he finds his way home on his own or with some help.

Kind man who pumped and paid for my grandmothers gas on Wednesday

To the man (late 30's) who helped my 90 year old grandmother at the Petro Canada Station on the corner of Eugenie and Ouellette Ave. on Wednesday, April 19th.
You saw her struggling to open her gas cap while at the pump and came over to help her open it after you finished pumping your gas. Her hands are arthritic and she wasn't able to open it. Not only did you open the cap, you proceeded to pump her gas for her. While you chatted, my grandmother told you that you were such a nice man and that your mother raised a wonderful son.
After you finished pumping her gas, you went into the station to pay. To my grandmothers surprise, when she went in to pay, she was told that YOU had also paid for her gas. $39.44!
The reason I know all this detail, is because she called me to tell me this story and was so happy for this kindness you showed her. In all her years, she has always given to others and for you to extend such kindness towards her truly filled her heart. She didn't get your name, but said you were driving a small truck/ SUV.
Thank you so much - you have been spotted!

To The Customers Who Make My Days Brighter

Just wanted to send my appreciation to several people in the Windsor community who I have served as customers.
I am a cashier at a local grocery store and am fairly new to the Windsor area. I have had many customers that have carried on friendly conversations with me, given me compliments on my smile or for helping them, or just been very pleasant and kind people. Working in customer service, you tend to deal with a lot of complaints and sometimes displaced anger, so it is always a blessing when you have customers that go out of their way to acknowledge you or even just flash you a sincere smile.
This means even more to me personally, because ever since I moved here, I have suffered from major depression and find it extremely hard to get through my days. There are so many days that I have come home from work feeling lighter because of something nice a customer said to me or people acknowledging me by name and coming up to talk to me each time they visit the store. It is sometimes the only interaction that keeps me going throughout the day and helps me have hope that eventually my future will be brighter after years spent feeling so isolated and homesick. It helps me believe in humanity and the power of kindness in a world that is too often filled with hatred and negativity.
I just want to thank all those customers from the bottom of my heart for showing such simple acts of kindness. And to let people know that how you treat your cashiers, your waitresses, or anyone that serves you has a huge impact. We all have stories that others know nothing about, so it is important to always show respect and kindness to everyone you come into contact with.
Thank you to all of those customers that have also served me in ways they may not realize, and thank you to everyone in this community that treats strangers with sincerity, appreciation, and respect.

My Husband Is Thrilled That He Got His Cane Back!

Thank you very much to whoever found and turned my husband's favourite cane in to the Customer Service desk at Costco. He is so grateful and happy to have it back. We would also like to thank all that read my original lost and found post, shared it, commented and generously offered to give my husband your cane or one of your canes. There sure are a lot of kind, thoughtful, generous and caring people in this world. You have all been Spotted.
