To our waitress Kirsten last night at Mazzars Dowtown location and management. Your restaurant was very busy last night and unfortunately you had some staff issues beyond your control. Our experience started out not so good to the point we almost got up and left after waiting 15 mins for a server to approach our table. Then we did get a server put our order in and then another 15 mins goes by and still no drinks or anything.
Then Kirsten comes explains she will be taking over apologizes for everything and did a wonderful job making sure we got what we needed.
To the management as well who came over and apologized and made sure everything was ok and took an appetizer off our bill and brought a dessert to our table....... Thank You for turning around a bad experience.

Friday I took my 2.5 year old to get blood work at the ziter building on Howard. While waiting my son and I were talking about what was going to happen when he had his blood taken and that if he was brave he could take the toys r us gift card he got for christmas and go pick something special. We were called to the window to pay and returned to our seats when A very nice man who had previously sat right next to me and heard our conversation came over to my son and told him to save his money and to go buy something special with "this" and handed him a toy r us gift card from his wallet. I insisted he didnt have to do that but he continued to say that he wanted to and handed the card to my son. We thanked him and were called in right away - upon leaving we stopped and thanked the gentleman again and proceeded to toys r us where my little one picked something special for himself and something for his little brother.
To this gentleman I hope one day you see this and I cant thank you enough for showing my son that there are still kind and generous people in this world. We still talk about you and we tell everyone of your kind act that day. We were so grateful for your thoughtfulness and hope to instill the same values in our son. We promise to pay it forward.

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to the people that pulled over after my accident on #3 today . We're doing fine thanks to the women and the nurse that helped keep my daughter calm and to the paramedics and the fire and the police officers.

Today I went out to lunch with my Dad and son to McDonalds on Tecumseh Rd & Drouillard. I have to say that the staff there is amazing. They went above their call of duty today.
When we first arrived we were greeted by Kassandra. Kassandra was amazing. I was explaining to her about how my daughter was devastated that she lost one of her Beanie Boos (Timber) and Kassandra went above her call of duty. She looked in the back for a Timber and when she came up empty handed, she searched downstairs for him. She had successfully found one. It had brought tears to my eyes, knowing that my daughter would be happy once again. As a parent, you do everything you can to put a smile on your child's face when they are upset and Kassandra helped me achieve this.
Justin, the manager, had overheard what was going on and asked us which Beanie Boos we were missing. I had told him that we were just starting out. Without a second thought, he said he would find us the whole set of Beanie Boos for my daughter. With the help of Kassandra, they had brought over not one but two sets (one for my daughter and the other for my son) of what they had in stock, they were missing the Moose but I was more then happy with the fact that we had a Timber and their kindness they had shown us.
Kassandra came over to tell me that she had to check in Justin's car for the moose, and with great luck she had found 2 of them. We now had the whole collection in our hands. Justin had even came over to make sure everything was ok and I just couldn't stop saying thank you to both of them.
I was overwhelmed by the excellent customer service from them both, to know that these 2 workers, who have no idea who we are, went above and beyond to help put a smile on my daughters face. This is what customer service should feel like. They made us feel important and valued, not too many places do that.
Words could not express how caring this staff was. Their kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. Thank you again for making my little girls day. All of her Beanie Boos now have a safe home in her room.

To the two young ladies that both stopped and helped me change my car tire on Lauzon Road. I thank you very much for not only stopping but helping and teaching me to change a tire, lol!
