Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This punk has been breaking into cars and lurking in yards stealing what he can. Last night between 4am-5am he hit 4 cars (that have been confirmed) on St.Paul & Belleperche (between Edgar & St.Rose). He was travelling on a small bike (BMX style) and has been seen in the neighbourhood at all times of the day & night.
Keep your eyes open & your cars locked with valuables out of reach!
There's a very well behaved and friendly shepherd roaming my neighbourhood on the 1100 block of Elm street. there is no tag on the dog. Mostly golden colour with some darker brown highlights around the face. The dog is checking out porches, looking for food and water. Would rather find the owner than call the humaine society on the rare chance that the dog gets put down.
Earlier today, I noticed a stop sign and streets signs a couple of blocks from where they belonged. The base looked as though the sign had been wiggled back and forth until it broke off
Shame on the person or people who did this act of vandalism. This is not only illegal but, is potential for injury or death.
Thank you to the police officer who took the sign, carried it back to the proper place and had it placed temporarily.
If you were the man driving the black SUV on July 6th that hit a young man on Tecumseh Rd east (Devonshire mall intersection) or if you were a witness to the accident please contact the police. A report has been made and we are trying to find the man at fault.
Just spotted a lovely young boy and his family selling lemonade for a friend in the hospital with cancer. They are selling at senaca park on Wildwood in Forest Glade. Great lemonade and great kids :)
Found a bag in South windsor/ west Windsor park. You tell me what's I side so it goes to the right owner.
Today on my way walking home from Riverside Library, I was hot, so I stopped at a park bench to drink some water and I was texting my daughter. I got up and walked home a few blocks. I walked in the house, took off my runners and checked my backpack for my phone. NO PHONE!! That phone is my ONLY phone. I am a single mom and full-time nursing student. There is no way I could afford to buy a new phone. I immediately told my daughter to start praying that it's still there on the bench I was sitting on. I immediately BOLTED out of the house and ran 5 blocks, all the while praying it was still there. Well!! My prayers were answered! There was a young couple standing at the bench with their toddler in a stroller and their dog. As I ran up to them, the man was holding my phone talking to someone. It was my daughter lol. He said he called the last person I was in contact with. I was SO grateful that they were there and they were trying to return it to me. I got my phone back! So nice to know there are still good people in this world. I don't normally ever forget my phone but I am getting over a bad cold so I was a little out of it. BIG THANKS TO DESIREE (which believe it or not happens to be my oldest daughter's name! lol) AND MATT who I also came to find out are my neighbours one street over from my street!!! You made my whole week!!! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!! I'M SO GRATEFUL!!! ;* :)
