Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Yes, there's a witness. If you reported it to the police when the idiot hit your truck with the contents of his grocery bag, good for you, and if you need someone who saw it as a witness, I'm available.
People whom lost there plates in the flood yesterday they are on my front lawn 2384 Chandler rd.
Fun in the flooded second parking lot of Springz before unclogging the sewers! Springz is still open for business and accessible!
I'm all about the new trash rules to help control rodents- but when the city experiences flooding like yesterday- you'd think they'd have their waste management make exceptions to remove any additional garbage that may have occurred after water got into so many basements? This is what my front yard looks like after garbage has already gone by! Clearly you can see the rolls of wet carpet in the bags. Not cool City of Windsor.
This man and his truck helped at least 5 vehicles out of the flood on Howard at Marentette.
I watched from my car at the corner of Lincoln and Wyandotte, a young mother waiting at a stop light with her baby stroller(covered) and no umbrella or rain jacket in the pouring rain at 10am. Two gentlemen in business suits approached and handed her their umbrella then went on their way in the rain to Anchor Coffee. Wow. Gentleman and kindness exist in Windsor.
To the woman who found the blue wallet at No Frills on Wyandotte and returned it, THANK YOU! I hope you read this post and know what it means to me! I was in tears when the cashier reported that someome had found and returned my wallet and all the money was still in it. You're a guardian angel to a Momma who needed it! Thank you again ❤
