I wanted to share a feel good story about my shopping experience at the Devonshire Mall this afternoon, December 11th around 4pm. My daughter and I went to the mall to finish up some Christmas shopping and we went to Garage. My daughter was trying on some clothing and there were two girls who had just come into the store. They looked very happy, laughing and having a great time enjoying each other's company while browsing the clothes. My daughter came out as they waited to enter the fitting room and they just started complimenting her. You look so great in those pants! Those pants look amazing on you! You need to buy those, they look so comfy and cozy! It brought a smile to my daughter's face as well as mine. The employee showing the ladies to their change rooms was also complimented. You look perfect in that outfit! Wow, you look so good - that outfit looks so good on you! . Again, more smiles from everyone involved. The girls names were Veronica and Annie (I heard the staff member ask when directing them to their change rooms). To Veronica and Annie, you two girls brought so much joy and happiness to us today. I wish more women would build each other up, share compliments, create feel good vibes and smile more often. You made my day. You made me realize that there is still happiness to be had even in these horrible times. Thank you for being you! Keep it up!
Morning of December 10th around 9:30am at Sobeys on Amy Croft, I was shopping for some supplies for a Christmas package for kids from our church. A sweet lady named Janette commented on the items in my cart because I had such a large quantity of the same item. When I explained what it was for, she pulled out a $20 to donate to the cause and wouldn't take no for an answer. I just wanted to give a shout out for the generous and thoughtful act of kindness.
I would like to put a cashier at Freshco in the spot light. Doris D
This lady gives a smile that lights up the whole place. She deals with stress of everything going on with a sarcastic comedy. She can put a smile on even the most miserable customer. Her line up is usually long, because everyone loves to be served by her.
You can see she is full of love and cares about her customers. Doris D please never change. Freshco @ Rivard congrats to you for having such a lovable woman for us all to look forward to seeing.
I'd like to sincerely thank the person who returned the money that they found at the Bank of Montreal ATM on Wednesday (Dec. 2, 2020), which I unknowingly left on the ledge. I was pleasantly surprised when I called the bank to ask if anyone had turned it in and they said yes. It's nice to know that there are so many honest people among us. Whoever you are, I am truly grateful for your selfless action by returning the money to the rightful owner.
On Thursday Nov 26 around 230am -250am on Caille Ave in Belle River our snowmobile trailer was stolen with 2 snowmobile inside. The trailer was just located yesterday on Rhodes drive off Central but the trailer was empty.
If anyone has any information or can help us identify this Jeep that would have a trailer hitch, possibly over sized tires, or knows anyone that has similar sled on marketplace please let us know by contacting the police.
We had a neighbour help find footage of them driving away with it and working on getting a better picture.

I was just reaching out because I brought my 4 year old son to get tested for Covid at the downtown campus yesterday evening after having a rough night. You would expect it to be a typical visit to the hospital which isn't usually an enjoyable time. I could not believe how friendly and positive the nurses were, as well as professional and informative. The part that really made the visit different was the fact that my 4 year old AFTER getting the swab (which I don't know if you ever had it, looks incredibly uncomfortable even for an adult) still came out of that appointment excited and full of laughter and love. I give all that credit to the very friendly Doctor that did his check up, I unfortunately didn't catch his name in the moment but he's a younger gentleman with longer, brown and shaggy/ curly hair. All he talked about was that doctor on our drive home, and even committed to being a doctor next Halloween(which sounded like a big deal to him haha). I just wanted to put this message out there just incase anyone knows who he is and can give an extra Thank you for his added hospitality, positivity and the feeling you genuinely care especially with the normal work load during this difficult time.
