Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I just wanted to share my good experiences the last 2 days out in the public.
Yesterday at the Wholesale Club on Dougall, I had dug a quarter out of my pocket to pay for the cart deposit, when a lady said "oh here Im done with my cart, you can take this one." I handed her the quarter and she told me it was actually $1 deposit. I dug in my purse to find I only had .50 more. I was meeting my husband inside and had to other cash on me. I was so embarrassed and asked her to hang on a minute but she said "No take it, my gift Merry Christmas" I thanked her and we left the free cart for someone else to use when we were finished. Then this morning at Tim Hortons the person in line before me paid for my tea so I passed it on and paid for the person's coffee behind me in line! It felt good to be treated to a good deed and to pass it on!
Spotted : To the guys who put on the "Roast of Santa Clause" show last night at the Comedy Quarry: You guys were hysterical! I loved it! I'm sorry I dont know any of your names, but everyone had a great time!
This morning at 7:30 am I left my purse at the Tim Hortons on Howard. I would like to give a very big thank you to the gentleman who turned it in.
signed a very gratefull woman!
To anyone that has family members that get gone care;
Please try to remember to put salt down before we come to your house.
We're there to help your loved one live at home for as long as possible and its hard when we can't get into someone's house or driveway due to snow and ice.
So if you have home care workers coming to your house, a families house or a neighbour please take 2 extra minutes to make our job safer for us and our clients.
I recently slipped at a clients house and now have a damaged sciatic nerve that could have easily been prevented if there was salt down.
Sincerely a pregnant women pushing through the pain so the elderly are taken care of.

Spotted : I just want to wish all my friends and people that I have ran into in Windsor and all the awesome Windsorites on this site and in the city a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! These stories I am reading is really making my day!!
Spotted: To the driver of the 1A that was at the mall around 9.20pm today (Thursday).
Thank you for having a sense of humour. When the bus was having issues because of the cold, instead of it being a problem and people being fed up because of it, you managed to make the entire bus laugh. After an incredibly bad week, I thank you for that.
Signed A Girl Who's Week You Brightened.
Spotted : Props to the awesome bus driver on the 9:20 1A leaving devonshire mall tonight. It was so cold out tonight that the parking brake on the bus froze and we were stuck there for an extra 15 minutes while he was attempting to fix it and radioing to his co-workers trying to get advice on how to thaw it. No one got angry, he had us all laughing instead. Just wanted to say I was very impressed with how he handled the situation and thanks for the laugh!
