Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I found a set of car keys on Parent Ave just south of Wyandotte and was wondering if I could post here to see they get back to the owner
I have found a bunny that's white with brown spots on it on my front lawn. I have put it in a box with some food and water. If anyone knows anything about a lost bunny in the east end near Rivard please contact me.
Sometime before 8am on Friday January 10th the back of my wheelchair accessible van was smashed while sitting in my parking lot at my apartment. It is quite obvious that it was done by a plow because of both the height of the damage and the fact it tore into the metal. To the plow driver that cleans the lots on Meadowbrook, accidents happen but you chose to just drive away without so much as leaving a note. I just want you to know I am an unemployed single mom doing the best I can. Now because of you I will have to come up with the money to pay an insurance deductible to have the damage you caused repaired. I will also be without a vehicle while its being repaired and unable to transport my disabled daughter safely . You have also inconvenienced my family who will have to rearrange their schedules if I need to run errands or take her to appointments. You have shown a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and common courtesy which is a reflection on the company you work for.
Spotted in Windsor is this Eastern screech owl hiding in a tree.
Can you find the owl hiding in the tree?
If so simply comment found it, as others may wish to look for it as well.

Sunset tonight from McKee park. January 12 2014.
The TMC pharmacy thanks for your excellent service today. You went beyond what you needed to do. Your assistance was greatly appreciated. Our family thanks you for your compassionate care.
To the sweet man in Walmart tonight. I hopped (sorry, slumped) into line behind you with my fruits and veggies (as at 11 weeks pregnant, it is ALL i am craving)and let out a loud, obnoxious sigh on accident. You said "oh, that doesn't sound good. You sound depressed" and i reassured you that it's just exhaustion! After a minute you said "please, go ahead of me. I'm retired and have all the time in the world. get home and have some rest" .. though I didn't take you up on the offer because we each only had a few things, your kindness made my night. It's funny how such little gestures can make a difference in one persons day.
Thank you for that :)
Ps, I am at home eating my blueberries now and getting lots of rest ! =)
