While I was out taking pix., this little boy and his Grandparents crossed my path and the little boy says to his grandparents after saying "hi" to the deer repeatedly. "How come it does not talk to me?" He said, "I said hi?" It was so cute he thought it was one of Santa's Reindeer... The Grandparent's with out a flinch said this is a wild deer hon, they can't talk but you can say good-bye now.... I do miss those days with the kids.
To the guy that was my customer, we spent a few minutes talking about plastic bags, and dog poop. That was the cutest convo i have had in awhile and you made my heart melt with your smile hope to see you again :$. -from 711 girl

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone whose been trying to help me find my stolen bike. It means so much to me. Some people may think, "Oh its just a bike, get a new one", to me, its not just a bike. Its my life. Ive spent over a pay check on it, I ride it everywhere, to and from work, errands, normal joy rides, etc. This is why I can not buy a normal cheap bike and just "buy another one" since i use it so much, I can't afford to buy another one like that right now. So again, I would like to thank all of you who are supporting me and keeping your eyes open. I think if we can keep this up, there may be the slightest chance of seeing it again.
To the young man who got out of his car on conservation drive under the expressway to help the elder man who fell on ice ..It was so touching to see people really do still care! You warmed my heart! I myself would have gotten out but another gentleman came to help..SMILE U BEEN SPOTTED :)
Just wanted to say thank you to the awesome parent at the day care today who found my diamond earring in the parking lot.when I realized it fell out I traced all my steps back today including that parking lot with no luck,,,but then you found it and handed it in,,,thank you for your honesty and your kindness,,,you've been spotted
From a mom who if you only knew the story behind how this earring fell out
I would like to say shame on you Met Hospital for having a ban on children 12 or younger to visit. I understand you don't want the "general" public wandering the halls of the hospital, possibly spreading more germs and diseases BUT diseases, viruses and bacteria do not discriminate.
We, as a large family, have a terminal ill parent currently in the hospital for a side effect to his chemo. Visitation is allowed but his grandchildren are denied access by your fancy security guards because of their age. We don't know if he'll pull through and they have every right to visit. Last night I spoke to management after a 30-45 min debacle my Sister in law had to endure, in which we were granted access as this is a compassionate care situation. This morning again access was denied!!!! Good thing my sister in law was quick on her feet as she said she was out of town and they then accommodated her. Of course the children had to wear masks, which is to be expected.
Sorry for the rant but as a family, we shouldn't have to FiGHT with security regarding our loved ones. This is not the first time your security guards have been rude, demanding information that is not theirs to inquire about, or denying visitation. They seem to have taken their position of power above and beyond. Maybe Met administrators, you should give your security some basic healthcare etiquette. Families are patients too and when I say families I mean adults AND children.
P.S. Just to clarify, the nurses and physicians granted permission as they asked ahead of time if the children were able to visit.
