Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Today on 'The Doctor's' Friday need feed the George Lopez incident was mentioned, thankfully however they got the city wrong they said it happened in Toronto because of a reference one of our finest made about Mayor Ford.
Thank you to the constable who said this as Windsor really doesn't need any further publicity related to alcohol and SORRY to the residents of the GTA for our taking advantage of your Mayor issues.
Id like to recognize the staff working on Wednesday afternoon at Dirty Jerseys. My two young kids and I took my grandmother out for lunch and while eating, my grandma has a stroke. It took a while to realize this so while I was trying to help my gram, the staff played with my 3 year old and carried my 4 month old around so I could focus on my gram. They phoned an ambulance and stayed with us until it came, and covered the bill for us. I appreciated the understanding help and compassion I received from all three of them. Thank you, very much!

To the staff at Dirty Jersey's day shift............I just wanted to give you a HUMUNGOUS THANK YOU. Wednesday My mother, step-daughter and my two grandkids were there for lunch. My mother had a stroke. You called an ambulance for her and while the attendants were taking care of her you were playing with my grandkids and keeping them occupied. If it wasn't for the quick calm action of your staff things may have been worse and for that I THANK THE STAFF from the bottom of my heart.
I was driving to work my usual way of going eastbound on Tecumseh Rd. and just coming off Lauzon Rd. when I noticed the 1C bus in front of the Tecumseh Mall waiting for some young teenagers to cross the street for them to board the bus. Usually I see the buses take off pretty quickly as I know they have a schedule to keep with. Constantly the teenagers are trying to run the red light as the bus will not wait for them which is dangerous but today thank you to the lady bus driver with dark hair who was driving the 1C bus at 7:44 am. Thanks for keeping the kids safe and thanks for waiting for them. It was very nice to see.
To the gentleman who was purchasing ice cream sandwiches in Metro on Central and Tecumseh @ 9:00 pm (approximately) this evening. I let you go ahead of me in line; in turn you paid for most of my purchase with the money you left . I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your generosity.....it is much appreciated.
To the two young ladies at the Esso today who were huffing and puffing (literally) because they has to wait 1 min and a half for their turn to pay for gas ,
I'm sure the employees there are glad you're "never coming back". Think you should pay for your gas at the pump and leave your negativity outside with you.
This is tonight's sunset. Hoping for warmer days to come real soon so everybody can enjoy more sunset like this. And we can all say "I've survived the polar vortex!" :)
