Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted: To the idiot that ran the stop sign around Tecumseh and Felix, thanks for almost crashing into my wife while she clearly had the right of way. Obviously the bad weather excludes you from obeying traffic signs, and the safety of other drivers. I hope karma comes back, and slides right into the back of your car. As much as I enjoy talking to my wife on the phone, her description of the near miss and her sounding scared bothered me greatly.
Signed:
A concerned husband that wishes he was a traffic cop.
Spotted : To all of the snow plough and salters out there thank you for everything you do! Some of these men like my dad have been out there doing the best they can to make the roads safe since the wee hours of the morning! Taking time from their families and missing special events for the safety of others! These workers are on call 24/ 7 and deserve our respect! Yes it takes them time to get the streets done but its not the plow drivers that chose when and where what streets get done please remember this! Breaks my heart that my dad is missing yet another special day with us to keep others safe and see the bashing posted of the workers!!! Stay safe everyone and Merry Christmas
Signed My dads my hero
Spotted: To the guy on Richmond and Hall that used his snow blower to removed the snow from both sides of the block. That was very thoughtful and saved us all a lot of work.
Sincerely, a happy neighbour.
Spotted: my Canada post delivery person offering up a warm smile in the blowing wet snow while delivering a most important present from Santa. We love our regular carrier on Victoria avenue, and just yesterday the clerk at the rexall on giles and ouellette had me and my three-year-old son near tears laughing.
I know the agency is undergoing many changes, but my experience with every individual who represents this critical (and under-appreciated) service is always a pleasure.
and this guy... he even sweet-talked the hound.
SPOTTED...SNOW PLOWS...NOT. where are the Windsor plows???
Thanks to the lady at the mall who over heard me and my MOM arguing a little, who told me that Telus asked her what she wanted for Christmas. She said to be able to be with her daughter who lives in Edmonton. She got a call saying that Telus is going to send her and her husband to Edmonton to be with her daughter made me realize life's is to short. Be grateful for everything you have
A young lady in Christmas spirit
Spotted : Just want to say a big thank you to the man or woman driving the gold Dodge Journey who paid for our breakfast in the drive thru of McDonalds on Drouillard and Tecumseh! Great way to start the day!
