If anyone SPOTS a grey / silver car (GM make) with major damage to the front/ passenger side. Please report it to the police. This car narrowly missed me as I was shovelling the side walk and destroyed my neighbours car that was parked. Then it sped off! Any help would be much appreciated! This happened at about 11:30am Saturday morning.

Spotted : To those needing a bus they are running really late. I waited 52mins for the 1C & can't feel my fingers or toes even though I have 3 layers of everything I can get. The snow is blistering biting burning and the buses are having a hard time. Also saw 6 people get stuck at the intersection of University/ Huron during my wait time for the bus. Stay warm!

Spotted : Too many house fires!

Just a friendly reminder that this time of the year is especially bad for fires, in commercial and residential buildings. No one wants to lose possessions, pets, or people. Take extra caution when burning candles and having the heat on when gone away for long periods of time. Don't risk having a ruined holiday, PLEASE check your smoke detectors and make sure all children know what to do in case of a fire.

Spotted : My lovely neighbour, you are almost 4x my age and still go out of your way to help me year round since I live alone. From giving me plenty of fruits and veggies in the summer, to picking up my leaves, and now to offer snowblowing my laneway/ sidewalk. I've never asked you for anything, but I truly appreciate all of the kindness you have shown me when I'm busy with school. I only hope I can repay you and brighten your day as much as you brighten mine. Thank you!
