For the past 2 days we have visited the Harvey's restaurant on Tecumseh toad east in the plaza across wal mart. The temperature has been a chilly 8°C in there. The poor workers are wearing coats and hats to serve customers. I asked them and they said the heating system is broken and they are afraid of losing their jobs.
You have been spotted for excellent customer service and the owner has been spotted for poor working conditions.

To the young gentlemen who stopped and helped a friend and I push my brother out of a snow pile on Campbell and Grove last night around 1:30am(ish).. You have been spotted. Thank you for stopping and helping us. It was so bitter cold and hard to dig the snow/ ice out from under his car, and we just couldn't push him out. If you haven't had stopped and helped us, we probably would have been out there longer, freezing our butts off trying to get him out. We all appreciate it more than you know!! Thank you so much, again, for your kindness and help.

Signed, a very thankful and appreciative little sister.

you've been spotted!!!

To the people who claim they are from or have lived in "freezeyourbuttoff" Canada and that this IS NOT cold and that we Windsorites need to get over our selves and suck it up.

Thank you for your commentary but since it's colder here today then at the north pole I do believe we have every right to complain and be concerned for our safety as well as that of our children.

So you'll forgive us southerns for not enjoying the butt freezing weather.

Looking to Spot : some very nice person has been plowing out the driveways in Riverside after the city plow has been by. Does anyone know who he might be? He deserves recognition and many thanks for his good deeds...

Spotted : Looking out the window wishing it wasn't too cold so I can leave the house when I spotted a group of people trying to help out a driver of a cream colored SUV at the corner of Moy Avenue and Richmond facing Erie Street East. Even people driving by stopped at the corner unknowingly blocking traffic to help. complicated health issues stopped me in this cold weather from helping. You ALL been spotted and I praise you all.

Spotted : Just would like to say a great big Thank You to the gentlman who tried to get my car unstuck this morning on Langlois Ave. We where not able to get it out, just as I was going in the house a neighbour offered help. My neighbour was so determined to get my car moving, despite no gloves and the cold we succeeded. . To my son's godfather for snow ploughing my sidewalk off and on. I have awesome neighbours and Windor has awesome strangers willing to help people.

City of Windsor, you have been SPOTTED!!!!!!!!
Today around 4pm I was getting off of the Ottawa 4 bus in front of the Money Mart on Ouellette and Wyandotte. I couldn't get off at the back of the bus because the snow was higher than my knees (not shoveled), so I proceeded to go to the front. A 75-80 year old man who had canes attached to both arms was trying to get on the bus and slipped on the pile snow that also was not shoveled and had turned into ice. He fell on his side on the edge of the step on the bus. A wonderful man and myself tried for 5 minutes to get him up but because of the ice, he kept slipping. The helpful gentleman then wrapped his arms around him and used all of his body weight and was finally successful at getting him up. I called 311 and filed a complaint! I hope that elderly man is ok and I am so grateful to the gentleman who finally got him up. The city better believe that I will be following up on my complaint to make sure this is taken care of!

I helped a young man push his car from the snow last night approx.11pm. I ran to my parents house at the corner nearby to grab a shovel to dig him out.

Spotted : Today when I stopped at my parents before work, my mom handed me a Tim's card that a nice young man dropped off to give to the man that helped push his car out.
I was just helping out on a cold night, I didn't expect anything but I appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Gerry (I'm all warmed up now)
