Spotted : to my husband, we live on meadowbrook and last night someone had decided to open an umbrella and leave it in the middle of our street. It can get pretty busy with traffic especially around Christmas. The other night instead of leaveing it there like other pedestrians, he walked up picked it up closed it and put it up against a post.

Not only do you provide love and care all year round to children and their families but go above and beyond to make sure families in need have a blessed Christmas when they can't afford to do so on their own! So I would like to wish all the staff at ABC Day Nursery on Hanna st. a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! !

Spotted : Yesterday my mother went to visit the clinic when upon leaving a young man informed her that she had a flat tire. The young man then attempted to help her put on her spare with his hand shaking the whole time - he could not put it on properly so he told her he'd walk over to a mechanic and fix it and bring it back and she should wait inside because it was cold. He brought back the tire fixed 15 minutes later and refused to take any money. I want to thank you for helping my mother out, and like she told you in her broken English "I don't want to pay you because of the service you offered, but because you truly are a good person. Thank you and may God bless you." After putting the tire back on he informed my mother his hand was shaking and his whole reason for coming to the clinic was because he had a cut in his hand... So this man literally could not use his hand and had pain yet still tried to help my mom out. Thank you so much and I hope you have a great holiday season.

Spotted : Today 2 extrodinary women in my life did something amazing for me. Last night our car died, this morning i woke up sick. My mother and cousin stopped by my home, they were going shopping for Christmas....these fantastic women did my shopping for me. I was panicked with what was happening with the car...they picked out wonderful things for my daughter.
This will be a wonderful Christmas!

Spotted : On Friday morning, around 6:45am waiting patiently to order my coffee, I gab my $1.80 in hand ready to pay, I approach the drive through window when the clerk state the lady in front paid for my coffee.

Spotted : Your Chrysler 300 is ugly, and I'm sure you thought it was so nice as to take up two large parking spots at Metro when you REALLY didn't need to, as the parking lot was not even full.

Spotted: To the young man at Ouellette and Eugenie tonight around 6pm who helped push a van full with a mother and her young children into a parking lot because her van ran out of gas - You are truly an amazing person. You are also the only person who stopped to help this woman who's van was impeding traffic. The world needs more people like you, you have been spotted!

On Wednesday of last week my boyfriend was admitted to Hotel Dieu Hospital. He was there all weekend and on Sunday when he was finaly discharged and we were able to go home. He practically ran to the elevator so excited to go home as it was so close to the holidays. As we were exiting the elevator to the parking garage I grabbed my keys from my purse and took a step towards the garage; my keys slipped from my hand and fell down the elevator shaft .. I watched them fall ALL THE WAY DOWN.

Panicked and in tears I ran to the security desk on the ground level and begged for their help. Those were our only set of keys available at the time and we were screwed. The security who called the egineer of the elevator company to get help and we were told it would be 500$$. Im a second year university student, I DO NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY to pay to stop an elevator. Two out of the three security guards happened to have fishing rods, they attached a magnet to the end and attempted to fish out the keys, and they were succesful!!

I can't even begin to explain how grateul I am for those guys. We would have been stuck, no access to the car, our apartment, his medicine, etc... Furthermore, it was cold, rainy, and their shift was basically over. They didnt have to help us at all, but they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe.
