Conversation started today

To the person or persons who dumped their old black leather couch in the alley behind my house near Walker Road and Niagara on Monday December 23: If you read this, do the decent thing and pick that couch back up and bring it to the dump yourself. I also want you to know that I hurt my back trying to get it out of the alley - I was afraid that it might cause an accident if someone ran into it with their vehicle. Shame on you for leaving a heavy piece of furniture like that for someone else to have to worry about. We should ALL be responsible for PROPER removal of our OWN furniture when it becomes unwanted and we should NOT dump couches on someone else's property or on city property abutting someone else's property. You might have thought it was harmless, but I called the city and they will not remove it. Therefore PLEASE do the right thing and come back and remove it YOURSELF!!!

Spotted : I won the bedding on this site from BeddingSuperstore.com. I received it all today, and was shocked how much I had won! 10 pillows, bedding, bed skirt, mattress cover, curtains to match! What a wonderful Christmas present! Also such good quality!

This ad was posted on Kijiji Windsor yesterday. Title simply says "Stray Dog" and then it reads only "Last seen on Drouillard and Whelpton" with pic shown. I have already send and email to Humane Society with a link to the ad. Hopefully they will be able to contact the person who posted the ad, find out if he is still around and go out and recover this animal before he gets injured. In the meantime, if anyone in that area sees this animal, could you please help him rather than just let him wander the streets. The phone number for the WECHS is 519-966-5751 if found.

Spotted : A previous coworker , now living in Toronto, but on FB with me, saw my post needing a certain book not available here. She checked it out and walked in the snow storm 20 minutes each way to get it( apparently only 2 in Canada avail) she brought it with her to Windsor, passed over to a current coworker and delivered to me at work! What an angel ! Her schedule was tight as she was only here for one day, then on to Europe and she went to that effort for me, plus she wouldn't tell me the cost...just Merry Xmas girl!

I'm just knocked out at the generosity of people!
