Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted : This is our first winter in our home on Greendale, we came here from a home with what I would hardly call a driveway. Our car just fit onto the pad leaving maybe 6 inches all the way around that needed shovelling in the winter. The home we are in now can comfortably fit 4 cars, meaning shovelling time has increased to what feels like a million times.
I headed out this evening with my daughter to tackle the accumulation from this afternoon and an amazing neighbour who I had not yet met was nice enough to come over with his plow equipped jeep and plow us out in minutes.
Thank you Richard for the warm welcome to the neighbourhood on such a cold night.
Spotted : A HUGE thank you to my brand new co-worker who not only tried to help jump my car in this blizzard, and on driving out of your way to bring me home when it still wouldn't start. You have been spotted!
Spotted : I was driving a colleague home after work tonight at 6pm on Malden in LaSalle, the snow storm was well under way. I dropped her off and went to pull away, to drive home. My car was stuck in the snow. It just wasn't moving. My co- worker tried to dig me out, but it is still stuck. Then out of nowhere this gentleman appeared. He had pulled in seeing me stuck. He got out of his car and pushed me out of the snow i was stuck in. It took him a few goes. But i got out safely. If it wasn't for this man, i would probably be still sitting at the wheel, crying. Its really nice that a random person could just stop and help a terrified girl out. I say Thank YOU!
Spotted : to my wonderful neighbours for helping push my car as i struggled through this horrible snow so i could pick up my stranded brother at the airport!!
Spotted : To the woman who finds it nessary to call out people's grammer mistakes. You should instead write a positive massag instead of causing negitivy!
My husband was outside this evening shoveling our driveway and I joined him outside playing with our dog. We live in South Windsor off Ducharme St and our crescent is always last most likely to be plowed for snow removal. The last snowfall we had the city only grated the road and didn't remove the snow properly.
To my neighbor this evening, you have been spotted!!!! You plowed the street all the way around the crescent 3 times now our road is completely clear! Thank you so much for your hard work even when you didn't have to do the road. My husband and I are very thankful!
To the driver in the red truck who did Juliet Crescent.. you've been spotted by a thankful resident of the street!!
