Hi, I'm a Windsor Little League Baseball coach. Unlike most coaches, I don't have a son who plays for me. But when I was a kid I played little league baseball and there were coaches who were kind enough to volunteer their time to coach me, so I feel it's right that I do the same. I coach boys ages 9-10.

I'm writing this because the All Stars tournament is just around the corner. We have a team of 10 boys who are thrilled to have been selected to play. The cost for each boy is $125. This covers their jersey and a full week of baseball starting July 16th. Unfortunately, this cost can be difficult for some parents to cover. However, I don't believe that kid's should be denied the opportunity to play because of money.

So I'm offering to cut lawns in exchange for cash donations. Whether you need your lawn cut because you are unable, or you'd just like to take an afternoon off and let someone else do it, I'm happy to do it in exchange for any donation you feel you can manage. Need Host families for July ! Every year Japanese girls bless our city with a visit. They meet the mayor, they volunteer at the mission and retirement homes and they learn English intensely for two weeks at school. Host families get the evenings and weekends with their student and learn about another culture and it often inspires the host families' own children to want to learn a language and travel.
