As a resident of Windsor and a life long resident of Ford City i would like to take a minute to THANK the people of Windsor and surrounding area's for coming out and supporting the, Ford City Resident In Action Volunteer committee annual Fireworks and BBQ. The Fire works were usually held on or near May 18 long weekend, but were moved to June 21 due to the weather. There was still an amazing showing of support from the community and awesome people of Windsor. Thanks to the support the residents group will once again be able to have several children events for the kids in the Ford City area. To the residents group I must say you are an amazing group of people to be able to organize such a amazing show of fire works and BBQ, you all deserve a HUGE thanks for what you have been doing for the neighbor hood.. Bringing back this event took an extreme amount of work from all of you. THANK YOU FOR CARING and working so hard to hold an event that is incomparable to any other.I would also like to thank all that have volunteered help and sponsored the event. Without your help we would not have had such a wonderful event. THANK YOU YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED

To all my Locals out there, I need your help! Each year I participate in a Bike A Thon for Hospice Palliative Care. I am trying to raise money for this cause and I am trying to turn to my community for support, so I thought what better way than to post here on spotted :)
This cause is so important to me because of one special person in my life. My cousin was diagnosed with lung cancer at quite a young age, and she has been told many times that her days are soon coming to an end, but she seems to beat these odds each and every time. She is now in her 40's, still with the cancer she was diagnosed with, has a quarter of a lung left, and through all of that she has founded her very own charity called Healing with Smiles, the KeepSmiling Alliance (http:/ / healingwithsmiles.com/ index.php). She is very inspirational to me and I am determined to do whatever I can to help her raise money for this cause.
If you would like to help me out please visit the following link.
