Pay it forward..

On August 23, 2014, Chad Pillon was assaulted near his home in Windsor, ON and suffered severe head trauma. He was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he is currently in the ICU. After spending a week under a medically-induced coma, Chad is now awake. While he recognizes his family and is able to walk, he is still unable to speak. There's still bleeding and swelling on his brain but he is slowly getting better every day and it's hoped that his speech will eventually return. All of his family and friends are hoping for his full recovery.

Needless to say, they have a long road ahead of them, filled with uncertainty in so many ways. Chad's wife, Jenny, (our sister) is currently off work to spend as much time at the hospital as possible. In addition, she's trying to spend as much time as possible with their two sons.
We all know expenses can add up quickly and while there's not much else we can do right now, we would like to make sure the Pillons don't have to bear any unnecessary financial burdens during Chad's recovery. Their focus should be on getting Chad back to being the boisterous, fun-loving life-of-the-party Chaddy Daddy that we all know and love.

Any and all financial gifts are greatly appreciated! Please share with your friends so we can help them out.
Thank you!

Yard Sale Fundraiser For Rescue Animals

Please read :)
I am having a yard sale this Saturday, August 30th to help raise money for a family and farm in need. Not only am I selling my things but my friends and family have also donated items to my yard sale. All proceeds will be going to a The Land O'Lakes Petting Farm which is located in Cloyne, ON.

Land O'Lakes Petting Farm is a place of refuge, a place of healing. It's like a sanctuary for Children and animals. Owners Barry and Donna Smith take in animals with injuries, animals with wounds and disabilities. If it wasn't for them these innocent animals would not survive. Barry and Donna started their rescue farm 10 years ago after adopting children who suffer from significant trauma. They quickly realized that the animals and children on their farm responded positively to each other. It became a healing process for both. The farm has been open to the public for 4-5 years now but time is running out for these animals. The cost of food, vet bills, and upkeep is very high and the farm is now in financial difficulty. If they are forced to close down the innocent animals will be put down and/ or used for food. In return this will affect the children as well as Barry and Donna immensely.

My goal is to raise money for the farm animals by selling items at my yard sale. So please come out and support this great cause. If you are not interested in buying anything but want to help we are also accepting cash donations.

Thank you and please contact me if you have any questions.
