Today I have hit an emotional wall. I like so many other people struggle with making ends meet from payday to payday. I am a generous person giving freely of my time to others, helping with food and clothing drives for local food banks and community organizations. But today I need help. This month I couldn't pay my rent ( the first time in years) or buy grocerys, so I called social services for help, I was told that they could not help me.
I am a widow, I get ODSP and I work part-time. So some people may say "why doesn't she have any money" because I have bills to pay and after "robbing peter to pay paul" for months it finally caught up to me. Do you know what its like to tell your grandchild they cannot sleep over, not because you don't want to see them, its because you have no food to feed them, and are too embarrased to tell your own family?
So if anyone has any ideas or has seen My Dignity Please let me know....

Somebody called the dollarama at central mall a few weeks ago about a lost clip with a bus on it . I took down the name and number but one of the cashiers threw it out . The clip was found a few days ago. The girl said it had sentimental value so i feel bad about not being able to get a hold of her. If somebody knows who it is it can be picked up. :)

I've found a young female calico vet says she's around two she's very friendly and loves to be petted she's missing the tip of one ear if you are her family or know where she belongs please let me know I want to get her home safely

I found this cat around heritage drive. It was crying and following my sister and I home so we gave it food and water. The cat was clearly starving and ate a couple of bowls of food. It is still on our porch. Unfortunately, we cannot take the cat inside, as we have other animals that may not get along with him/ her!

A very rare turtle has been lost. He got out of the back yard and a neighbour thought he was a regular aquatic turtle so dropped him off by a pond. However this is a very rare turtle and a beloved family pet. He is vegetarian and does not belong in the water. He has been with this family for many many years. The original woman that brought him into canada many many years ago recently passed away and this turtle was her most cherished possession. He was dropped at mcHugh and Florence by Wfcu centre. There is a pond u can see from the road....across the street there is another pond that is by the trail. That's where he was dropped off at. He was spotted on Tuesday by John's pond. Please if you see him pick him up and contact us immediately. He is very friendly. 519-791-0744

About 20 yrs ago I knew a guy named Tim Ellis. He used to work at Flag Fire. He lived with family I think on church st. For some reason I had a dream last night about him. Hi Spotted...Sunday, August 31 at around 8:00pm I was at the river front and some how lost my favorite pair of sunglasses...they were purchased outside of Canada and I can't replace them. Thank you.
