Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the lady working in the drywall store on Monday afternoon you have been spotted!!! JG Drywall and Painting in the 3300 block of Tecumseh. I was parked outside your store to look at the damage to the record store that I shop at and saw you dancing. It looked like you were dancing to Spanish music and I just wanted to tell you you were really good it put a big smile on my face after learning that my favorite record store was destroyed. One of the other store owners told me that your store was robbed last week too, so it was really nice to see someone who just dealt with catastrophe be positive and enjoying the day. A lesson for everyone to make the best of their day no matter what they are going through. Today you made me smile.
To the man at Metro at central mall today in the blue plaid shirt at around 3:30 today..should have bumped into me again! Would have liked to talk to you....

Getting ready to head to Canada's wonderland the next day with the family. So taking the wife's vehicle I thought best do a oil change that is over due. Upon starting to do the oil change I noticed that her front tire on the inside was not worth taking the chance driving on it the distance. Out side had lots of tread and the inside was bald as my head. 730 at night called around to see who could install new tires on the front. Called Canadian Tire on Tecumseh road and explained what was going on. They said how fast can you get here and saved our family vacation. A Big Thank You to the Team from Canadian tire on Tecumseh road for Saving the day. The Kids had a great time as we did as well.
Tuesday night I went to the Tim Hortons on Ottawa street for a quick 5 minute break from biking and to have a coffee. I noticed you and possibly your son ride up and set your bikes beside mine while you went inside to order you and him some Tim bits. As you were outside before departing back down Ottawa, we made eye contact and smiled at each other. Maybe 5 minutes after you left, I hopped back on my bike and went back down the way I came. There you were both, sitting on a bus stop eating your Tim bits and as I passed we both made eye contact again, smiled and nodded to each other.
I then stopped maybe a block away to speak with a friend who was waiting for the bus, and you then came across the street to the side I was and passed by again, slowly.....after my friends bus came I continued down the road but didn't see you.
Even the shy person I am, I was going to stop and make a joke about us playing leap frog with our bikes, constantly passing each other. But to my luck, I didn't see you once I turned off of Ottawa.
Not sure if it was a friendly smile or a flirtatious smile. (I'm always too oblivious for this stuff).
I'm just hoping you see this and maybe we can meet up for coffee or a bike ride if you are interested. Just so I know if you do see this, reply with the colour and type of bike I was on and maybe we can meet up for coffee and/ or a bike ride. :)
