Card collection stolen on Pelissier

Last night, my friend Anthony Gerbrandt had his vehicle broken intoning Pelissier. Most of the contents of the vehicle were still there, but the thief made off with his backpack, which contained his collection of magic cards.

Please share this with any game shop you go to, and please help us keep eyes on kijiji.

It is a grey and black Roots backpack, padding on the body. The bag contains a trade binder, a Top8 playmat, an m14 deckbox with two decks in burgundy and purple card sleeves.

Cards to be on the lookout for are
a foil oracle of mul daya
Avacyn angel of hope
Serra ascendant
Kozilek butcher of truth
Sheoldred the whispering one
Akroma's memorial

Lady asking for gas money is a sad scam! Be aware

This afternoon while waiting for my boyfriend's son to get off his school bus on Rivard rd...a woman in a black sun fire pulls up and asks us for money for gas..She told us she just left the hospital to see her ailing mother and needed money for gas...could we please help her...feeling sorry for her we gave her $5.00 ...the only cash we had. An hour and a half later we drop the youngster off and the same women drives right up beside my car again and asks for money again ! I told her she already asked me ...she tells me it was her sister not her....please everyone be on the lookout for this woman and her scam!

Donut Drive-by

This evening my Mother came home with a big swelled up bump on her neck.
She told me that while she was waiting for her bus on Parent & Tecumseh Street, around 10:20pm. Someone decided that it was okay to drive by & whip a donut at her neck. I just want to let you know, that you hit her so hard not only did you leave a mark but it took her breath away. I don't know who in there right mind would think this unacceptable behaviour is okay. But you have been spotted.

Hit puppy news in Tecumseh???????

This morning, Fri May 22 in Tecumseh on St Thomas I saw a poor little puppy laying in the street. He was bleeding & had obviously been hit by a car. It was heartbreaking & I don't know how somebody could've left him there. I had my 3 year old with me & didn't want her to see him. As I was deciding what to do, a van pulled up to the puppy. I live very close by & rushed home to drop my daughter off & I rushed back to help. I was maybe gone for not even 4 min. The puppy & the van were gone. I've been thinking of that poor little puppy ever since & wondering how he is doing & wondering how somebody could hit him & leave him. If anybody knows what happened, please let me know. Good or bad. I've already cried a river for him. I know people are going to get on me for not immediately going to help. I really didn't want my 3 year old to see him. When I was young I saw a cat run over in the road & it really upset me. If the van wouldn't have stopped I would've went right over, even with my daughter.

Lack of Respect at UWindsor

I had the opportunity to attend the University of Windsor Headstart orientation today, along with my son. Shortly after our arrival to the CAW, we noticed members of the Campus Emergency Response Team looking for their assigned booth. One of the members approached the Campus Police booth to inquire if they knew where they were to set up. The female officer attending the booth replied back in a terse, snarky manner and seemed rather bothered by this request.

The lack of respect shown to members of an allied university agency is absolutely disgusting, particularly at at welcoming orientation...I certainly didn't feel very welcome. I hope that this one officer is not representative of the entire Campus Police force.

dogs dont belong in hot cars

To the person in the red/ burgandy 2 door truck at devonshire mall this morning around 11am, how about you DONT leave your sheppard in your truck while you shop! Ya you left the windows down about an inch however it gets alot warmer in the vehical than the outside temp. Maybe someone should perhaps leave you in a truck like that and see how comfortable you are!? Horrible.
