Hold your child's hand in the parking lot

I was at Canadian Tire on Walker road during the lunch hour on June 19. A young boy about 3 years old was running around ahead of his mom (who had a baby in the cart). Please, Ma'am, hold his hand. I know he's at a rambunctious age, but he can get hurt. I did ask you to hold his hand in the parking lot; I wanted to stress how dangerous this is. Please don't let him get hurt because it's too hard to handle him . It is your job to keep him safe by controlling him in unsafe areas. You just don't know when a car will back up and he can't see him, not to mention darting into the driving lane.

Driver on Tecumseh at 7-8pm on 06/18

I witnessed today while leaving the Red Lobster on Tecumseh after a wonderful birthday, a very angry lady driving a dark red car stop her car in the middle of the road, and her out of her car in a rage to the silver car in front of her. That silver car HAD to stop due to the traffic from contruction, and could not move up to stop in the middle of an intersection. You looked like a scary demon yelling at innocent 18 year old drivers while you are clearly a grown woman well into your fourties. You were clearly in the wrong and so ignorant to the situation. Think again

Mean Boys Belong on a Farm

To the group of boys at the bus stop at McDougal and Tecumseh, who were making animal noises to a couple of beautiful girls, one slightly overweight, and one wearing glasses, SHAME ON YOU!
From my point of view, those girls did the right thing in ignoring you, keeping their smiles on their faces and moving away from you animals.
As I see it, one boy was mooing like a cow, I think you need to be out in the pasture, if you moo like a cow, you must be a cow. The other was oinking like a pig, you should be in a sty, if you oink like a pig, you must be a pig. You both sounded like animals, acted like animals, maybe we should treat you like animals.
The girls on the other hand, smiled, talked in English, laughed at each other, and sounded human, they, in my book are ladies.
Learn to respect others, boys, one day, those ladies may be the nurses or doctors you need for medical help, or a lawyer for legal help, or an accountant for financial help. I'll tell you one thing, speaking from experience, you NEVER forget the animals and germs like yourselves, that bully. No one cares, you looked and sounded like absolute fools today.
Ladies, keep smiling, you are both beautiful and unique in your own ways.

Slashed tire

My brand new car had its tire slashed outside of my house. My husband and I work hard for the things we have and for our children. My tire was flat and I thought I ran over a nail so I brought my car in to hopefully just patch a nail hole. To my surprise the tec shows me a knife slash on the side of my tire. Tires arnt covered under warranty.

I dont know who did it or why, but if anyone seen anything around clay park with kids messing around a 2015 jeep, or someone just being a total a** for no reason im offering a reward.

Ill be paying attention closely on this thread for any leads. .

And to whoever thought itd be funny to slash my tire, thanks for taking money out of pocket for something I put into my childrens education fund every month. You should be ashamed!

Parental Alienation

Parental Alienation- I'm appalled that there aren't more resources out there for parents going through this. My husband has been dealing with this for 13 years now, a stranger in his sons life, no emotional support from anyone but me, his new wife, his family back home. The battle in court takes so expensive, retainers alone are ridiculous, there is nothing he can do but accept things the way they are. Where are the advocacy groups in Windsor, where is the support or subsidy for good fathers that have rights too? The children are the ones that suffer the most. I've seen it first hand. It takes a toll on everyone, step mothers, grandparents and even friends. These woman cannot keep getting away with this. Money hungry and controlling, hurting their own flesh in blood, damaging them emotionally and mentally. Is this not abuse? Isn't this something CAS should start investigations? Why is mental abuse not as important as physical, absurd? I'm reaching out for help for my step son, my husband and for our family. Someone please guide us in the right direction before we lose all hope.

Gas money scam!

There is a woman driving around in a black cavalier asking for gas money. Her story is that she is from Essex visiting her sick mom but she forgot her purse at home and is running out of gas and won't be able to make it home.
Seems legit.... My husband and I fell for it TWO YEARS AGO when she approached us on our front porch in a different neighbourhood. She is driving the same car, and is telling the exact same story. I thought she looked familiar when she got out of her car and then I knew why.
Just a heads up Windsor. This is wrong and there are other ways to get help even if she needed it.

When did red lights become optional?

I've been seeing this more and more, and it's really disturbing: Windsor drivers ignoring red lights at intersections. Sometimes they'll pause and then go if they think they can get away with it. Other times they'll just blow through, especially if they were racing a yellow light. Either way, it's illegal. And inherently dangerous.

When did these drivers get it into their heads that red lights are optional? Red means stop. It does not mean "Eh, maybe I'll stop, maybe I won't."

Most recently, Tuesday night around 10 pm at the intersection of Ouellette Avenue and Tecumseh Road. The northbound lanes had a red light. A northbound SUV approached, paused, and then just kept going. There was traffic coming from all directions. The driver didn't seem to give a damn. Even did it casually. As if red lights didn't matter.

Talk about terrible habits at the wheel. Selfish, sloppy, dangerous driving.

Illegal dumping

To the driver for Tilbury Concrete who decided to stop and clean your truck of leftover cement into the ditch on Morton. You've been spotted and reported! Hopefully you will be made to clean cement out of ditch.
