Two weeks ago I ordered a cake for my sisters birthday from the superstore.
Sadly on Monday our father passed away unexpected so obviously my family is going through a lot. In attempts to make the best of my sister birthday I promised I'd still pick up her cake and we'd spend the time just the two of us trying to make sense of the loss.
I was running late with my kids and all I wanted was to get the cake and get to my sister, thankfully even with the strike going on it was promised by the store it would be ready for me.
After coming out with the cake a women picketing decided it was a good time to make me feel bad for shopping there. She was extremely rude claiming that I didn't care about the people as I was still shopping there and I needed to start showing some support. She was demeaning and continued her rant louder and louder as I walked away.
Im sorry you guys are unhappy with your employer and I wish all employees were treated better but you still had no right to be so rude to a complete stranger.


I was already on a boarder line break down and then having to listen to you pushed me over the edge.
I'm aware you don't know everyone's personal situation, but my point is there are so many other ways you could have positively gotten your point across without being so mean.

I was at the plaza on Wyandotte St east where there is the giant tiger dominos and so forth a young man approached me asking for money saying he needs food to eat as he is homeless just seems a lot of people in parking lots asking for money for whatever reason

I understand that times are tough for some people. We moved here from Calgary a month ago and are struggling to put fuel in our car to get to work and get furniture for our new place. I know the economy isn't the greatest right now.
My fiancee and I were picking a few items in Dollarama and a couple in their mid-twenties went in the store ahead of us. I knew right away that they weren't there to shop. My fiancee was behind the female when we went in and within seconds the girl had stolen a bottle of lemonade. Then they went down the aisle where they proceeded to start taking things like zippered CD cases, cheap wallets and so on. REALLY???
I'm not for stealing but really? At least steal food to put in your belly. If your going to steal anything, steal food. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying to steal from the store, but WOW, CD cases?
I would have offered them a couple dollars if I had extra cash on me, but I know they wouldn't have used it for good.
The day I steal from a dollar store is the day they find me hanging from my neck off of the Ambassador Bridge. I hate the fact that I have to buy a few groceries there. To steal from there would be my all time low.

On Tues June 30 around 3:45pm you backed into my car in the parking lot across from bakers restaurant. An employee witnessed this and provided me with your plate and vehicle identification. I understand accidents happen, so I suggest you contact me within 12 hours.

To the gentleman driving the Journey from Ad***** Windows & Doors who decided driving on my side of the road forcing me to hit my brakes with my GRANDSON in the car because your lane was blocked by a car & you couldn't wait, nice way to advertise your company!

Welcome to the brand new Fire Station #2 at Chandler and Milloy. Construction was complete in early Spring and NO property maintenance has been done. Weeds are growing 3' high in some areas. Along Chandler, there is no sidewalk and people has to walk through this mess to get down the road. Wuth all of the controversy prior to building at this location, I thought that the City and the firefighters would be doing their part to be "good neighbours" as they claimed they would. It is sad to see this property being so neglected!

My mom was out on her bike today and she was almost hit by a lady on her cell phone (most likely texting!!!) at the intersection at Princess and Tecumseh road. Shame on this lady for being on her phone and then speeding off and not even taking the time to ask my mom if she was OK, just awful =( Thank you to the other drivers for yelling at this lady and asking my mom if she was Okay. IF anyone might have witnessed this , please contact me , thanks

Yesterday at 10pm I had a knock at my door. A woman who looked distraught and like she clearly needed help asked for gas money to get home because her mom is in ICU at Met Hospital and her car was on empty and she needed gas to get home. I live a couple blocks from Met Hospital in the South-Walkerville area.
She was out of breath and talking quickly saying her mom is very ill and needs help and begging me to give her money. I felt bad, and was also put on the spot because she was on my porch but at the same time her story did not make sense to me.
She had on a red pull over sweatshirt and jeans and glasses. Her hair was short and dirty blonde kind of curly.
She was medium build and about 5"6' tall and in about her mid-50's.
I went back into my house locked the door and grabbed 4 dollars all that I had on me. I grabbed my cell phone and keys, and through the window told her to wait on the sidewalk and not on my porch.
I went outside and gave her money but left it on the sidewalk infront of my house and told her not to come near me. Again I only gave her money because she knows where I live and didn't want her being upset with me or coming back and damaging my property.
I also told her that I thought it was extremely odd she'd come to my house which is two blocks away from the hospital to ask for money. Out of all the houses on the street she just came just to my house and parked in my neighbors driveway, where I park and parked right behind me. She kept telling me to come to her car and that she would show me her gas light is on. I told her that I was not interested and that the entire story was strange and she alarmed me. After that she left and I called the police to report it.
