Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I was at the Garry Dugal Park & Spraypad at the end of Albert street this afternoon(Sat.) and this older guy comes along with his lg. dirty dog and proceeds to force him into the splash pad. We(and many parents) could plainly see that the dog did not want to go into the water. He stayed about 10 minutes and left. I'm sure the dog was refreshed from the hot day, but the guy didn't have to force the dog.
You've been spotted :(
I'm sorry for being an idiot while riding my bike while covering an event today on the riverfront.
I was trying to catch up to the group I was covering when I noticed I wasn't on the bike trail. I didn't know where to cross (have never rode my bike downtown before) and saw a patch of grass with an opening in it to cross in a crowd of geese. I avoided the geese while crossing and holding the brakes while saying sorry over and over. I remember seeing your face in disgust.
I remember thinking I was an idiot afterwards and wondering why I did that. I later found out I could have crossed ten seconds up the path.
You have every right to talk negatively about me. I could have hurt a goose. I should have gotten off the bike when crossing at the very least. I should have said sorry too when you passed by, but I didn't have the courage to do so.
Recently, we had to evict some people from our rental property because they had come to believe that payment of rent was optional, and that they could dictate to us how much, and when they would pay the rent. ANYWAY, upon their leaving, we went into the home to begin the massive cleanup in order to sell it, and we discovered that these low life's had left their cat there, with no food, water or litter box. This is a woman who is an animal lover. She has 4 Min Pin dogs, and makes a living selling animal art paintings she creates. She has a YouTube video of how beautiful this cat in, and how well it gets along with her dogs. She claimed on her Facebook that the cat is a "rescue". Just so you know, I have reported you with all the info I have on you to the Humaine Society and the SPCA!! Shame on you!! As for Whiskers, we are trying to find her a nice place to live. We can't keep as 2 of my 4 kids have severe allergies to cat dander.....or I'd keep her in a heartbeat!!! Attached I have posted a video we took of this beautiful girl!!!
To the inconsiderate unmentionable named person that thought breaking into my van at the baseball diamonds was really cool of you.Nothing in my purse is of any use to you as cards are all cancelled but in my wallet was a locket with my dad's ashes and my family ring in it.If anyone finds a purple wallet and guess purse please contact Tecumseh OPP
To all the Spotted posters that are reporting animal abuse of any kind. Spotting the person on this website in hopes they may see this does not mean you shouldn't report them at that time.
It just means you saw and did nothing about it.
A dog left in a vehicle or being kicked and beaten should be reported to the Humane Society or Police ASAP. Just because you are getting it off your chest and saying 'next time I will report you' doesn't mean a thing. In the end the animal is still in the possession on the owner but now behind closed doors. Animal abuses don't think to themselves I should come on Spotted to see if anyone sae me.
Do the right thing and report it immediately. Even if you remain anonymous.
Shame on you if your only action is to write on a website and not help stop abuse.

To the young lady in the white Chevy Traverse in the Sobeys parking lot in St Clair Shores, you should know better than to leave your dog in your car while you go grocery shopping, especially on a hot day. I was two minutes away from calling the Humane Society.
Just a reminder to everyone that has a pet, please don't bring them while you run errands, and then leave them in a vehicle, especially on a hot day.
My boyfriend and I were coming home from lunch at about 3pm today and saw a middle-aged man who had collapsed by a driveway on West Grand Blvd. at the end of Virginia Park Avenue. Pedestrians near by stopped to call 911 and we waited near by til the ambulance showed up but I nearly missed him driving by and felt horrible thinking of how long he could have been out there before someone found him. It's still early but I'm just hoping to see if anyone knows him and knows if he is okay!
To the scumbags who broke and entered into our rental house while my husband and 3 years old were away getting our broke down jeep'ac fixed. I hope you get what you deserve for stealing our electronics, my son's and husbands jordan shoes. I was going to reuse my son's shoes for the next baby but thanks to you I can't do that anymore. You also stole the only pair of shoes that fit my son that I had purchased last month for his birthday. Thanks to you I am unable to have a birthday party for my 3 year old. Thanks to you I don't feel safe bringing my newborn into our rental property in the next 3 months. Thanks to you our lives have gotten much more hectic than before. Hope you're happy and satisfied with what you've stolen and caused us to go through.
