Land splitting cyclist on Central Ave. (EC Row overpass)

To the goofy looking balding cyclist who thinks it's a good idea to lane split and move to the front of the line at red lights. The share the road idea applies both ways, drivers and cyclists. If I have to give you a meter while passing, don't pass me and take the lead spot at a red light, without giving me a meter as well. If you came to the light in the third position, that's where you stop! Rules of the road apply to you, you're not special. Please stop trying to get a ghost bike of your own.

Black Honda Civic Keyed; $4000 worth of damage

I am looking for some information. On Friday July 10, 2015, between the hours of 11:00PM and 2:40AM I parked my black Honda Civic in the TD Parking Lot on the corner of Ouellette Ave and Pitt Street. I was parked on the side next to the Panache Ultra Lounge; the third car in from Pitt Street. The parking lot was very well light. During those times above, a random individual had keyed both sides of my car very deeply (from the headlight to the trunk on both sides); costing me around $4000 in damage. If anyone knows any information or saw some suspicious behaviour in that area during those times, please comment on this post and we can speak further. Note: I truly believe that this was a RANDOM attack because I have no reason to think otherwise. Thank you.

Keep your eyes open at Central Park

I was out for a walk with my dog last night just before nightfall. I noticed an older model car, similar to a 1985 model monte carlo or grand prix, two tone grey or blue, driving very slowly by me. When I turned into the park to let my dog run a bit, he went around and pulled in to the parking lot by the tennis courts. He then popped the hood of his car and tinkered around but I could see him watching us. When I started to head home, he quickly closed the hood and drove slowly up the street. I was seriously creeped out and when I was out of his site, blocked by the pool building, I ran to the other side of the building and around it, staying out of his view, while he crept very slowly down the road, while I'm sure wondering where I went. Once he was at the other end of the park, I ran a different route home constantly looking back to see if the car came back.
I am not easily scared but in this instance I felt very threatened.
If you live near or go to Central Park (Woodlawn between Beals and Norfolk), please keep your eyes open. It's an easy car to spot.

Thank you very much to the person who came in my backyard Friday night or early Saturday morning and stole my bicycle!

litrle old lady with the potty mouth

dear old woman with the caca mouth:

here's a traffic lesson for you. when you turn the corner right from tecumseh east onto mcdougall and then turn left into the 7-eleven there are a few things you should realize before you blare your horn, cuss and scream out your window like a crazed banshee at someone who is stopped and waiting for traffic to pass so they can turn.

1. yes there is a turning lane, which I'm assuming is where you thought I should be. however if you bothered to pay attention in drivers Ed, you may have learned that when the arrows point only one way, you can only turn one way from that lane.

2. the yellow solid line means do not pass this line lest you be driving into oncoming traffic. I was stopped in the right lane with my signal as I should be. had I used the turning lane for the opposite direction u would have been sitting the wrong way in oncoming traffic.

3. If you're going to scream profanities and shoot me the finger out your window at least be right about what you're screaming about. not only does it make you look trashy, it ups the stupid points when you are being a psycho for the wrong reasons.

I very seriously considered stopping my car and asking you what your problem was. people always seem to feel comfortable screaming at someone from the safety of their vehicle like a drive by assault. I don't understand this. fortunately I was making a quick stop on my way to the hospital to visit my mom. I doubt very much it would have been a productive conversation anyways.

I wish you a blessed day :) especially since you wished me so many wonderful places to go & lt;3

Hurt goose and duckling at blue heron pond!

Today at 1230 pm I was driving past blue heron pond when I saw a group of 3 10-12 year old boys chasing a Canadian goose. My mom and I stopped and asked what happened and they told us the goose was wrapped in a fishing wire and they think it swallowed the hook. The children then showed us a baby duckling wrapped in fishing wire. We told the children we were calling eerie wild life when they then looked scared and took off with the baby duckling, leaving us with the injured mother.

The mother got help and was taken to have surgery but I am asking windsors help to find this baby duck and kids so they understand the seriousness of animal abuse and disobeying bylaws.

If anyone has seen these children or have any information about it, please contact windsor police as they are looking as well.

Flower thief

To the man in the pick up truck who thought he had the right to pull up to my neighbors house at 10:00 pm tonight and start ripped her flowers out of her garden. This woman literally spends hours everyday to make a showcase out of the front of her home. People are always stopping and commenting how beautiful her garden is. When I told him to stop ripping her flowers out and then again when my husband went out and told him he thought he would be a tough guy and start arguing with us. Next time go out and buy some or take the time to have your own garden but at your age, you shouldn't be stealing from others.
