Justice for Justice!!!!

The Windsor/ Essex County Humane Society is seeking information from the public about a serious case of animal cruelty. On Thursday, December 17 a Windsor man was walking his two dogs beside the Canadian Tire on Walker Road when they discovered a small dog lying in the grass. When our officers responded they found the dog's muzzle, paws, and neck tightly bound with electrical tape. The dog was unable to move, having difficulty breathing, and his mouth and paws were extremely swollen. He was immediately rushed to a veterinarian for care.
The dog, now named Justice, would likely not have survived more than a few more hours had he not been found. Even after the tape was removed, he was initially unable to stand, and his mouth remains swollen. Fortunately, because he was rescued in time, veterinarians expect him to eventually make a full recovery.
Justice is a several year old unneutered male dog. He is a small breed dog with a cropped tail, weighing only approximately 13 pounds. He had a pre-existing dental and mouth issue that would have caused him to have foul breath for some time. It is believed that he was dumped late Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning. Anyone with information about who may have neglected, tortured, and abandoned Justice is asked to call the Windsor/ Essex County Humane Society cruelty investigations department at 519-966-5751, ext 16 or Crimestoppers at 519-258-8477. You are not required to provide your name to make a report, and you may be eligible for a reward through Crimestoppers.
Donations towards Justice's care may be made online at http:/ / windsorhumane.org/ donate-now-2/

grouchy older woman who almost hit me and my mom last night.

So i would like to start of with .. If you dont know how to pay attention while driving.. You should not have a license and be behind a damn wheel. Last night I believe around 6:00-6:04 me and my mom were leaving shoppers at techumseh mall and started heading towards the old parking lot of zellers to get to the light located accross from esso gas station so that we could get home in the warmth after a long day. Myself being cautious all the time of my seroundings I watch closely for any cars, I seen it was clear so I began to walk and this white car comes speeding around the corner and does not stop almost hitting me and my mom missing us by an inch, not even. And I don't know who you thought you were woman or how you thought you did what you did was right but you decided to shake you're head at me and my mother and give off a dirty look. Being in the already terrible, down mood I had I lost my temper and told you off which in a way i know wasnt the most mature but hey.. You kinda deserved it and I really hope you heard it all. 😊 You dont own the roads lady so stop acting like it! People who walk need to get places too , and no need to be in such a rush to get to the mall or shoppers wherever you were planning on going to.. Neither store closes until 9:00 or 10 even then who cares if you ended up late theres other days to go and I think a humans life is more important than getting to a mall or drug store the time you wanted, better start paying attention and not only thinking about yourself because one day you might just end up really hurting a person or persons than you wont be shooting off any dirty looks or shaking you're head instead you will be on a phone making a call for emergency service and stuck having to deal with what you caused ( or in most cases if you are are selfish and heartless drive away with no care in the world). Rant done for the morning ! Really hope you see this whoever you are! You should be ashamed of yourself! You have been spotted.

low life steals grandmother's cell phone and wallet. Merry Christmas!

I am at a loss for words how people can be So heartless and why bad things happen to good people!
My 2y/ o daughters Grandmother was bringing her into the house when someone stole her iPhone and Wallet right out of her vehicle in her driveway. This is heartbreaking she has not saved her pictures or videos of her grandaughter and is completely devastated. If anyone can help find the person who did this we would be so great full. She lives on York St. and it happened around 1145 this morning. Praying that this person will do the right thing and return these items. So sad.

Hit and Run

PLEASE SHARE : Last night I was in an accident on the new herb grey parkway just coming off the ramp from
Huron church. I was driving east bound towards the 401 when I was struck by a vehicle on my drivers side door. I was then spun around (180degrees) and flew into the guard rail or wall on the side of the highway with my car facing west bound. The accident was a hit and run and we are un sure if the person who hit me will get caught. There was one other man who's back end was slightly hit and revealed black paint along the bumper and a witness at the scene believes the car was some type of black SUV!!! I am truly lucky to have walked away from the accident. I did hit my head off the window and all airbags released. I'm very sore today and still very shaken up from this incident. Please share this on your wall! If you know the person who was in this accident but left the scene please report to the Lakeshore OPP! I will most likely not receive any compensation, although my life is definitely worth more then any amount of money, from the crash unless the person who hit me is found! THANK YOU!

Bank scam

WARNING: I received a text today from, 333330000 claiming to be RBC bank and that for safety reasons my bank account had been placed on hold. I was directed to a certain website where I was asked for my personal information. I immediately contacted RBC bank and they informed me they do not send out text messages and this was one of the latest scams to have people give their personal information which then could be use to get access to the account. Please be careful and trust your instincts when something does not feel right.

Stolen Gifts

Tonight at Xtreme DanceWorks someone walked in and stole a few Christmas gifts from under the tree. These gifts were from our Secret Santa that we do every year for the kids in the studio. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. The only information I have is he was wearing all grey sweats, a baseball cap, a beard, scruffy grey hair and is a caucasian man in his 30's or 40's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Near miss on central.

Dear driver of the brown 90's sedan. Was it worth risking your passengers life to make that left, into Tim Hortons by the dump, where I had to SLAM on my brakes the hardest I ever have, to bring my car to a screeching halt,in the middle of the intersection - so you could get a coffee? Really? Was it worth it? Couldn't you have waited the THIRTY extra seconds for me to continue through the intersection WITHOUT almost killing someone on account of YOUR poor judgement?!

I REALLY hope your poor passenger gave you an earful. I sure did, regardless of the fact you couldn't hear me.
I understand it's a busy time of year, and we all have a lot to get done. But don't sacrifice safety for efficiency.

Be safe out there.

Sincerely,

The Shaken up motorist in the Red Versa.
