Pathetic theif

Last night someone stole my dogs tall dog bowl storage container from my back door patio. I live East Windsor in Reginald. Whoever you are, I am respectfully asking you to return it, no questions asked. I don't know what went on inside your head to think you have a right to steal property from someone else but I am giving you a chance to redeem yourself here & make a wise decision. It's extremely sad that we live in a society that things like this even happen. I mean seriously? A dog bowl? How low do you have to be to steal a dog bowl? If anyone sees it, please let me know. Thanks

Rules of the Road

Mr Macho Man in the black pick up on Martin Lane this morning at 8:20 AM:

The speed limit on that street is 50. I am so very sorry if my driving 50, offended you somehow. If you are late, then next time try leaving earlier.

The solid yellow line down the middle of any road, denotes that there is NO PASSING. Again, if you are offended by other drivers following the rules of the road, that is too bad. Stopping at the stop sign and refusing to move whilt hanging out the window screaming at me, shows a little bit of road rage there. I did honk the horn at you, to remind you that you broke not 1 but 2 laws by passing me on that street.

There are many young children that live on that street, and were waiting for the bus at that time. You racing about puts their lives in danger. It makes me wonder if you hit one of them, would you stick around??

If you don't know the rules of the road, time for a refresher big guy. I am offended by your tearing about down my street like you are king of the road. By the way, my daughter did take a photo of your licence plate on her cell phone. We will be turning that into the WPD :) I hope you have a terrific day!!

PICTURES FOR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY STOLEN FROM JACKSON PARK TENNIS CLUB

Tonight on Thursday January 21st, my dad and some friends were playing tennis at the tennis facilities by Jackson Park. Upon returning to his car, the window of our van had been smashed, and items had been stolen, along with one other car. In addition, many coats had been stolen from the locker room in the tennis facility.

We don't care about the window being smashed, or my dad's laptop being stolen from our car. We care about the huge box of wedding photos belonging to my grandparents, which were being used to make a slideshow for their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend. The slideshow was saved on his laptop only, which we can't start again until we get the pictures back. ALL of their personal photos since they got married were in that box, and we don't have any additional copies.

If anyone who knows anything about this reads this post, PLEASE turn in the photos to the police or return them to the tennis facility. These are personal belongings and memories that my family and I will never get back unless they are turned in.

Thank you

To every single home and business owner in Windsor---please please please shovel your snow, salt your walkways and keep a clear path for your letter carrier!! Maybe you leave out of your garage each day so it doesn't affect you, but shoveling snow is the law---and it is courteous to keep a clear path to your home. Please consider everyone's safety this winter.

There is a school aged boy , I'd say around 10-12 years old who is constantly asking people for money so "he can take the bus home" . He has approached me or my husband several times in the Freshco, Dollarama plaza on Howard and Tecumseh. ... should police be notified that he's always asking for money? I mean, if he takes the bus, shouldn't he know how much to carry with him, or have a student card ??!!!

73 year old woman struck by hit and run driver

URGENT: PLEASE HELP!!! The woman that was hit is a relative of my family. She has undergone surgery and is now in ICU in a coma. Please, please share this and let's get this SOB that hit her and has not yet been found or turned himself/ herself in. They literally hit her and then ran her over in broad daylight, then left the scene. She, her children and the grandchildren of this lovely woman deserve to have justice. Any information to help apprehend the driver is appreciated. Description of the vehicle in news report. "Police describe the vehicle as a black Ford F-150, 4-door with large 4x4 decal by the tailgate passenger side." Thank you.

Bad Guys and Good Guys at LaSalle McDonalds

A group of 16 year old young men ended the night celebrating a birthday, by stopping by the McDonalds near LaSalle on Ojibway.
An older man in his 20's was under some influence and after being loud and obnoxious made his way to the door but stopped to pick a fight with one of the young men. Asking "Do you have a problem Bro? We can take it to the parking lot right now"
The 4 young men sat and said nothing! You continued to taunt and pick on one boy of the group. You continued to tell the boy to fight you outside. For NO Reason!
I was tempted to share the photo that was taken of you, sitting at the table next to the young man you tried to belittle. With your face inches away from his, and he is clearly uncomfortable. Then you got up stealing 3 burgers from them. I thought that by maybe sharing your photo, your family would see it and recognize your shameful behavior. I wonder how proud they would be?
But then I realized by posting your photo, the repercussions of your actions could possibly only bring more hate and violence.
Shame on you, for being a reason I worry about my children when they are out of my view.
Now, to the group of men who walked into the McDonalds missing most of the incident, but hearing the Jerk try to fight the young men. THANK YOU for not just being a bystander and intervening. You Sir made me proud that you did what you did and said to the Bully. I wish there were more people like you!
