On Tuesday December 27th at approximately 9 AM, a distracted driver veered over into oncoming traffic. She was driving on opposite side of the road, completely in my lane, heading directly at me. Luckily there we no cars parked on the road and I was able to get out of her way. When she passed me, completely on my side of the road, I noticed she had her left hand on the wheel, her right hand was playing with the radio or something and her eyes were looking down and to the right at what she was playing with. She had no idea she almost caused a head on collision until i laid on the horn and only after she passed me, she decided to look up and see she was on the wrong side of the road. i saw her in my rear view mirror get back into her own lane. If there were cars parked on the road, i would have had no where to go and it would have been a bad head-on collision. To the distracted driver, I hope this shook you up as much as me and you will NEVER drive distracted again. I can only hope this has taught you a lesson.

To the lady that was in the silver car that was rear ended in the turning lane of Walker Road and Provincial road in Windsor at 3:50pm on Tuesday, December 27th, we have the license plate of the person that hit you. Contact for information.

My coworkers and myself adopted a family from the CAS holiday program as we do every year. This year we had a surplus of donations and after hearing on the radio that there was still 270 families unadopted, I thought it was a good idea to call and get a 2nd family. This ended with great success! We were able to purchase everything on this families wish list!
Sadly last week it was spotted by someone that some of these items are being sold on a buy and sell group in Windsor. Gifts we purchased for the child are being sold! We didn't buy random items, we bought what the family asked for! There are brand new items for sale that were not purchased from us, I am assuming she had donations from more than the CAS holiday program. I wonder what the screening process is to qualify for this?
How do you help families in need without being duped?

Monday December 19th 2016 I woke up to my neighbour telling me that my Black mini van parked on the road on the 2300 block of chandler was side swiped. They broke off my drivers side mirror, damage to front bumper, wheel fender, and drivers side door. So this was 7a.m. no clue when it happened because we were all sleeping. I'm upset because you damaged my van and now we have to pay for your mistake. That's OK karma will get you.But Merry Christmas to my family who has to fork out 1800 dollars in damages because you can't drive properly and grow up and fess to what you have done. so If anyone has seen anything can you email me please. thanks. starr7144 @ yahoo .ca

BEWARE Windsor residents of door to door scammers:
Happened Dec 21st, in the downtown Windsor area.

A young dark haired light skinned man came to my door claiming to be part of the Ontario energy board working under enwin. He also tried to be charming using a strange ice breaker/ pickup line. He asked to see the electrical bill and pointed to his clipboard at three different types of charges that he claimed he had to ensure I wasn't getting anymore...His sweater had a logo for "Summit house services".
I asked why we didn't get a call instead and he said it'd b easier to just go door to door then call... I closed the door and did a quick Google search and saw other claims of these scammers. When I told him politely to bug off, he insisted on coming back.. Please let your elderly in your family and more vulnerable loved ones know not to let these scammers see your hydro bill or even answer the door, they are trained to make you feel like you know nothing so that you comply with the lies they say!

Today my boyfriend was driving his black mustang down Lincoln behind another car, the car was going very slow, no turning signals so my boyfriend went to pass him and the guy turned into a parking lot without warning and my boyfriend crashed into his car. Just looking for any witnesses to the incident please and thank you!

I was driving down California by the University between tecumseh and College heading south when a Dodge Ram in front of me hit a side mirror of a white truck parked on the side, for a second, the ram slowed down realizing what happened but then kept going down the road. Luckily I have a dash cam and got it on video and took a picture of the license plate of the truck. Not sure if he turned back to give the truck his information but I think it was a silver in colour dodge ram with license plate "AP 7***3", I didn't put the whole number in case the guy stopped and don't want to reveal his information but if he didn't post on here and I'll forward you the picture of the license plate.

On Friday December 16, in the mid afternoon at the dog park in Tecumseh, I took Our beautiful dog Lucy for a run and play with the other fur babies. At one point there happened to be approximately 10 plus dogs there. Well to my surprise Lucy got bitten by another dog, the dog in which I believe bit her was nipping and biting other dogs too. The owner of this dig didn't seem to be bothered that his aggressive dog was doing this to other dogs. Unfortunately I cannot pin point it was this dog because of so many dogs there. But it was the only one biting. Anyways a $1000 vet bill later I am saddened and heartbroken that some people just don't care. If anyone else that goes to this park just watch out for the large breed poodle that is a tan color. It likes to nip and bite your fur babies.
