I was downtown by riverfront yesterday (Ouellette and Riverside parking lot) and spotted two large dogs in a small black Dodge. The temperature was in the 80's. Windows were slightly down, but it was obvious that the dogs were hot, panting, and frustrated as they were barking excessively. Another bystander noted that they had been left alone for at least half hour. I had witnessed them alone for 10 minutes. Police were notified and stated they were on the way. Shame on the dog owner for leaving these poor dogs in the car, under the hot sun. Be a responsible pet owner, or don't own a pet at all. I hope you were fined.

I have been working in customer service industry for 12 years and so many times been disrespected by a customer or two. Being the caring person I am, I brush it off lately it's been harder as more and more people are becoming more and more rude and unconisderable I work at Tim Horton's and contsnatly people are getting angry because they have to wait a few extra minutes because we are running around trying to get that big order that just came through before yours. I ask that you take a minute and remember that we are people to and sometimes need maybe a thank you and understanding that we are all just trying to do our best to ensure that you receive the best service possible next time you want to be rude take a deep breath and remember to be kind and patient.

Hey everyone my mother's van was STOLEN!! I'm asking everyone to please keep an eye out for a Red 97 Plymouth Voyager License Plate BSNC 503. It was stolen Sunday night in the area of Wyandotte and Jefferson between the hours of 6pm and 9am in the morning. The vehicle has red tape over the back taillight and orange paint over a dent in the driver's side. If anyone has seen this vehicle or knows any information please contact myself or Lidija Rotar so we can give any more information to the police! I don't have a pic yet if I get it will post in the comments TIA!

My boyfriend and i were walking westbound on Tecumseh rd and Howard Ave on April 25th 2017 at approximately 930pm when i was struck from behind by an egg thrown from a dark navy blue Dodge Caravan. I am 9 months pregnant and was left bruised on the lower left side of my back. This is now the SECOND time i have been hit since March and want something done. I contacted the Windsor police but they have done nothing. There has been many people this has happened to lately and this time my boyfriend saw the van stopped at a red light and approached the people in the van. They drove away scared. The attack is painful and had i been facing them my unborn child could have been hurt. I have had it and plan to contact reporters concerning the situation. My boyfriend said there are two young men of Arabic decent. Driving a dark blue dodge caravan. BE AWARE.

Everyday while driving on Dominion especially between Roselawn and Cabana I see so many drivers not stop fully at the 4 way stop, so many close calls of accidents between cars or cars and pedestrians. Also there are so many vehicles that speed up at the curve just before cabana I've witnessed cars lose control drive up on lawns..its 20 for a reason. Not to mention the vehicles that think its ok to park beyond the clearly stated No parking sign by that curve, or cars that want to force others to move over when a legally parked car is in their lane when
Law is you have to wait for the car that has the open lane pass by first I've witnessed so many close calls, this is a RESIDENTIAL street with many familes, school kids who are put in danger everyday because some drivers feel they are above these laws. I will be requesting police patrol in this area if it continues.

Last night (April 21) about 9:00 I was at the corner of Tecumseh E. by Red Lobster and A& W when a beige or tan colour sedan drove by as the passenger threw an egg out the window at me. The egg hit me but didn't break until it hit the ground.

I am writing this only to make people aware.

To those who attended the Rascal Flatts concert at the casino. That was a great concert however some people were not able to enjoy it. I understand those who had floor seats were standing, However, those in The tiered seating area were for the most part seated. To those ladies that were in section H Row 7 who insisted on standing. Did you know that there was a woman sitting behind you who had recently had major surgery, she could not move around in her seat to see through you. Every time you stood up she couldn't see? When we asked you to sit down your response was "it's a concert." Yes, we understand it is a concert and that everyone there paid money to have a good time. While you were having a good time the people in the row directly behind you, excluding your friends, were not having such a good time. What makes you more important that those directly behind you? When we ask it is for a reason you never know what others around you are going through or have been through. Next time please take this into consideration when someone asks you to sit down so they and others may see.
