Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This punk has been breaking into cars and lurking in yards stealing what he can. Last night between 4am-5am he hit 4 cars (that have been confirmed) on St.Paul & Belleperche (between Edgar & St.Rose). He was travelling on a small bike (BMX style) and has been seen in the neighbourhood at all times of the day & night.
Keep your eyes open & your cars locked with valuables out of reach!
Earlier today, I noticed a stop sign and streets signs a couple of blocks from where they belonged. The base looked as though the sign had been wiggled back and forth until it broke off
Shame on the person or people who did this act of vandalism. This is not only illegal but, is potential for injury or death.
Thank you to the police officer who took the sign, carried it back to the proper place and had it placed temporarily.
If you were the man driving the black SUV on July 6th that hit a young man on Tecumseh Rd east (Devonshire mall intersection) or if you were a witness to the accident please contact the police. A report has been made and we are trying to find the man at fault.
Our family would like to thank the good Samaritan who ran from his car to help my dad as he was getting off the bus in front of his senior building on Rivard Street and being robbed in broad daylight. My father who is 87 was being assaulted and robbed and this was witnessed by the man who then ran after the robber and got my dad's wallet back. Thank you so very much, glad you were there to assist in the catching of this sick individual. Who attacks a elderly gentlemen? My dad was also attacked by the robber yet only charged with robbery, assault should have been a charge against this horrible person. Now my dad's highly concerned and his love to go all over on the bus will not happen. Again thank you so much for leaving your vehicle and chasing down the perpetrator, we appreciate all you have done for our father
Tonight around 8:20 pm I had a young guy ask to be let into my house saying he needed to check something with my water tank. When I told him no, he asked if it was because of my dog ( who was barking). He told me if I didn't let him in, I could take a picture of the tank to show him, or he would just have to come back another time. Obviously I didn't let him in, wondering if anyone else has had this tonight. I live near the mall.
To the "gentleman" in the red minivan on banwell this morning at 10.
You chose to yell in traffic at me (in black jeep) as the light turned green for me to "get off my phone"
Just to inform you I WAS NOT on my phone, I was in thought about something personal, scratching my finger while waiting for light.
You scared the daylights out of me and others around, thinking something was wrong while in busy traffic as I'm ready to set off for the light that JUST turned green.
So mr phone police, maybe you should not yell things you don't know in the middle of traffic almost causing an accident with your "knowledge" while everyone is looking around seeing what is wrong!
You sir are an ignorant a$$ who needs to keep your mouth shut in traffic.
Just wanted to warn people around the east Windsor area. There are people going door to door insisting that you need a water filter hooked up. They're very pushy, they tried to take advantage of my neighbours whose English isn't too great. They even tried walking past her to get in. And even said "should I keep my shoes on or take them off " after being told no several times. Just seemed super suspicious to me and wanted to warn everyone.
Shame on you. You broke into my van, and stole my belongings during the fireworks. I was parked on Brant street between Alymer and Marentette. As you saw by the carseats, I have a child and baby. You made out with my Micheal Kors purse filled with cards and unfortunately some cash. Luckily all cards have been reported stolen and you only got away with $50 at Shoppers and $10 at Timmies. The IDs of my family will all need to be replaced, which are priceless. Shame on you for stealing from a hardworking mother that tried to take her son out for a fun time to the carnival and fireworks.
