Possible human trafficking

( sorry that it's long ) Ladies watch out at the east Windsor Walmart some crazy shit almost just happened to me I parked my car and got out walking towards Walmart and out of nowhere a man in his 50s to 60s with glasses approached me asking me how I liked my car because his son was thinking about getting the same one. So fair enough I answer him and then He pinches my coat as if to guide me closer to him and tells me about how I should be locking my car doors from the inside because someone got their stuff stolen and I have to be safe as a girl blah blah blah he then pinched my coat again and continued on about the story. I was polite and thought maybe it was just a too friendly old man . Then approaches the second man wearing a black ball cap and he looked older definitely 60's and they were chatting with each other as if they just happened to run into each other. The man put his arm out to say almost like go through the door first so I did not thinking anything of it and I walked into the store so quickly and walked away just in case and I went down literally only one specific Aisle to get shampoo . And was down the aisle for less than five seconds when he approached me in the aisle I quickly grabbed the thing I wanted and hurried towards the cash registers I picked a female to cash me out just in case I would have to say some thing. I am in line now and I looked behind me and see that the second man is watching what I am doing and he's just walking back-and-forth as if he was thinking about which line to get in but he didn't have anything in his hands. Keep in mind I was literally in the store for less than five minutes and that first man directly followed me to the aisle I was in and now the second man is watching where I was cashing out. I cash out my things and I see to the one cash over the second man Who was watching where I was cashing out buying a pack of gum. He finish cashing out first and then just stood there as if he was waiting for someone even though he didn't initially enter the store with this man they just happened to run into each other but they weren't shopping together. I then speed walk directly past him and exit the store and I'm basically running to my car as fast as I can and I get in my car and I don't see the first man's truck parked around me anymore. They were clearly working as a team and I have no idea what they had planned for me but luckily I got away please be vigilant around your surroundings I definitely wasn't when I entered the store.

What happened to all the kind and apologetic Canadians?

As I go back out into the City with stores reopening, I am saddened by what I have seen. A grown man berating a teenage store employee because he can not just walk into the store because it's at capacity, An older woman getting snippy with a girl at another store because they can not offer extra discounts at this time with coupons. I have seen lots of people refusing to follow the health and safety guidlines/ law to keep your mask up over your nose while in stores after just being told/ asked to do so with many becoming angry and then verbally attacking the store employee. There are people wearing spit guards that offer no protection for anyone and think it's ok to berate a store employee when asked to wear a face mask instead to go into the store. So many people seem to be attacking innocent store employees that are probably worried if they will still have a store to work at by Summer with so many closing their doors. They are worried about catching COVID from customers who won't follow the safety guidelines and they are tired of going home after each shift having been verbally abused and feeling so drained and let down by their fellow Canadians. It's very sad to see Canadians act this way when we are known all over the world as being kind and apologetic.

I was recently in a hardware store and witnessed an incident that is sickening.
A male customer was asked by a staff member to put his mask on correctly. With that, the customer pulled the mask completely off his face. A manager was called to deal with the customer who became belligerent towards the staff. The manager explained that it was not his rule but, that of the health unit and the Provincial government. At this point, the man said, you're only doing this because I'm black, you're a racist.
Thankfully, the staff and a few customers yelled, "this is not a racial issue".
We are all tired of wearing a mask when we go out; put yourself in an employees shoes where they not only have to wear a mask but, have to deal with angry, ignorant customers.
Start treating people nicer.

Angry Driver on Jefferson

Today I was driving on Jefferson when I had to merge into the left lane since the lane was ending. I merged safely and with signalling/ enough room, but apparently the man driving behind me didn't feel the same. He sped up, pulled into the left turn lane next to me, and threw something heavy at my car. I was surprised and stopped. My window was rolled down. He rolled down his and proceeded to throw other heavy objects at me/ my car. I was so stunned I didn't get a license plate. It was a grey/ silver car. The guy was wearing a snapback hat. To the man who did that: I hope you have a better day tomorrow. Whatever is going on in your life that caused you to behave in that way must be difficult. I would never want to live my day to day life holding in the anger that you clearly possess.

Leash Law

To the man who was walking 4 very LARGE dogs, off leash, in the park by the Fountainbleau Library, shame on you!

There is a leash law for a reason!

You ruined a lovely walk in the park for others enjoying the day by allowing your dogs to run off leash!

Durango/Lincoln accident

Saw an accident happen behind me January 18th approx. 3:30 pm right in front of the east end Walmart. A Silver Dodge Durango and a Blank Lincoln collided. The Lincoln ended up on Walmart's front lawn by the bus stop. the Durango had young kids in it and a young-looking mother who was obviously shaken up. I asked if they were ok but they quickly ran to the other vehicle and to talk to the police. There was a police officer at the light who I believe witnessed the accident. There were other police units on scene with an ambulance very quickly so I didn't stay. Just want to see if anyone knows the drivers of these 2 vehicles. I Just want to make sure everyone involved is ok especially the children into the Silver Durango. I Really hope everyone is ok and the only damage was the vehicles. If anyone knows the drivers or maybe the drivers will see this, maybe you can let me know an update. praying all are safe and sound tonight

Signed guy in the Grey truck.
Thank you

SCAM BEWARE!

PLEASE READ!
Last night I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw a post on a Windsor buy and sell page. It was a Maltese puppy that needed to be rehomed. I was interested, so I messaged the lady inquiring about it. She said the puppy was a 12 week old male Maltese, potty trained & friendly with kids and other pets. I then noticed that the initial post on the buy and sell page was taken down, so I asked her why. She said that she deleted it cause she doesn't want many people because it's legit and wants a serious buyer. That's when I thought, well that's fishy... why wouldn't you want multiple people interested? I then asked her how much the puppy was & she said $300. Umm yeah right loll that kind of puppy is well around a couple thousand dollars & puppy's are in high demand right now, so that's another red flag. I asked her where the puppy came from & she said she's the owner. I continued to ask, so you're the breeder? And she said yes. She said she has paperwork of his updated vaccinations and that he got them at Walker Road animal hospital. I then asked her if I could see photos of the Mom & Dad dogs, because if you're a breeder, you must have the Mom & Dad there too. She ignored those messages for hours. She then messaged me at 2am and said hello. When I woke up I replied and asked her if she still had the puppy. I knew it was a scam at this point. I asked her what her address was. She gave me her address and told me it was a house. I googled the address and it was in Windsor housing, therefore it isn't a house. She told me I could pick her up at 8pm tonight cause she gets off work at 7pm. I told her I would be there at 8pm tonight. She then continued to say that I needed to make a deposit to secure the purchase of the puppy because a lot of people are interested and then I would pay the rest in cash. There was no way in hell I was about to do that ahah so I said I don't have etransfer so I can't. She then asked me if I had PayPal. I said nope, I will give you cash and you give me the puppy. She agreed. I asked her if the puppy was in good health and she ignore my message. My dad then drove by the address that she gave us and called me to tell me that that address doesn't exist. The address she gave us was 2275 Sierra Drive Windsor ON, 29E 2Y9. My dad drove by and saw every address leading up to that but not that address. There was just a big empty lot. I messaged the lady and said the address she gave me isn't a house. She then blocked me. I kinda had a feeling from the get go that it was a scam, there were so many red flags, but I wanted to have a convo so I could post it on here for everyone to see. It's honestly sad. She got photos of a Dog from google and tried to scam people out of there money. Happens everyday folks. Beware. Please do not fall for this. Please Share. This lady's name is Rokibat Jayeoba. I attached photos of the woman, the dog and screenshots of our conversation. Please share!

Tired, Elderly Gentleman Made to Stand

To the young man who was banking at the Windsor Family Credit Union on Dougall yesterday morning (Thursday December 17, 2020), please be more considerate and aware in the future. We all need to be a little more kind, particularly to our elderly and vulnerable neighbours. My 91 year old, legally blind, grandfather walked to the bank in order to avoid public transportation because of the risk of Covid-19. He completed his banking but was too tired to walk home. He asked the teller to order him a cab and then made his way to the only chair in the bank so that he could sit while he waited. You, an able-bodied young man, brushed past him and sat down in the chair before he could sit. My 91 year old grandfather was made to lean against the wall for the entirety of the wait. I hope you see this and I hope that next time when someone else less capable than yourself is nearby, you think more about how you can accommodate that person rather than make their life more difficult.
