Tonight I was hanging out at my girlfriend's place when there was a knock on the door. Seeing as it was pretty late (8:30) we both looked at each other wondering who it could be. He said he was from Home Water Systems and wanted to check the iron and calcium in the taps. My girlfriend being naive just let him stroll on in. Once he saw me he was being extra polite and claimed it was necessary that he checked the taps. I've seen these scams before on Spotted In and Facebook before so I told him to get the hell out as politely as I could (not really though I kinda got stern with him asking if he's suppose to be here). He left pretty quick and said hed check in tomorrow but I know it's a scam. Does anyone else have information about this guy or guys? Was wearing a blue shirt, dirty shoes and an amateur name tag from Home Water Systems. Has anyone experienced this or heard of it before, let me know please. Thanks.

South Windsor: Stolen train that has been sold. I owned this Christmas train (picture posted) for many years. It's a limited edition Christmas brand train. I had to move in with extended family in South Windsor for the months of September and October 2017 before I could move into a new house. I have reason to believe a member of my family sold it. If there is anyone who has purchased this train or knows about this, it has been stolen and sold to you and is a greatly treasured family item. Please contact me and I will arrange to get your money back that you paid. It needs to come back to our family. Also another way you would know that it's my train is that inside the middle blue car there are a few tiny halo toy figures that I kept there as memory of my brother. What did I just see?????

To the lady who decided to run Diagonally across Dougall and grand marise into on coming traffic with your child in a stroller.

Was that bus that important to catch especially with your child??? You fully ran out infront of many many cars driving and expect them to stop. And on top of that when you were doing this and ran behind a car and came out. Your child was the first thing what would of got hit. I was so in shock as to what I just seen. after I was able to grasp what happen I wanted to follow you on that bus and call the police for endangering your child.

I am so mad.

Why do some people choose to be mean and bully people they don't even know? I was pulling out onto walker road today and I guess I wasn't doing it fast enough for the guy in the red Chevy car who was behind me. The traffic was heavy and moving quickly so I waited. Mean guy proceeded to bully me with his middle finger and honking. This continued even after I pulled onto Walker Road. He came up beside me, with his middle finger waving angrily at me. Then he took off, driving recklessly through traffic.
I really feel sorry for him. His life must be so miserable that he feels the need to be so mean to a complete stranger.
I was having a pretty good day, until Mr. Middle Finger took his miserable mood and projected it in to me. Luckily, I'm over it.
I hope whatever was bothering him gets resolved. Life is too short to be so mean and negative.

To the woman picking up her kids outside of Brennan today on Raymo at 3:45 in the dark blue dodge caravan. PULL OVER ALL THE WAY TO THE CURB SO THAT CARS ARE NOT BACKED UP BEHIND YOU UNABLE TO GET AROUND DUE TO THE NARROW STREET. THEN ONCE YOUR KIDS ARE FINALLY IN YOUR CAR AND THE LIGHT AHEAD IS GREEN DO NOT PROCEED TO MOVE 3 INCHES AND THEN STOP TO TALK TO SOMEONE OUTSIDE. We waited a total of 2 minutes for you to load your kids and all their stuff into your trunk. You did not pull over far enough so we had to wait behind you. Mind you by the time we pulled up you were already out of your car so I could only imagine how long you were there for. We couldn't get around you which then caused a (as far as I could count) 6 car back up. The guy behind me tried to pass ME and get around the both of us but almost got hit by an oncoming car (that guy was stupid but still) then once you finally got your kids into the car and reveresed ALMOST HITTING MY CAR and came back onto the road when the light 10 feet ahead of you turned green, all the cars in front of you proceeded to go through the light you STOPPED, rolled down your window and talked to a kid on the sidewalk. IM THE WOMAN WHO HONKED MY HORN 8 TIMES AT YOU.

Are you really under the impression that you are so entitled that you block traffic, move 3 inches and then stop to block traffic all over again. You and I made it through the light but the 6+ cars you made wait down Raymo DID NOT. Thank your child for giving me the finger as well, it showed me really what type of mother you are if I couldn't already guess.

Move your car to the curb when you pull over. Raymo is used by people who aren't picking their children up from Brennan, but are just trying to get home from work and don't need their car side swiped in the process.

To the ones dealing with the latest construction on Arthur Rd 1400 Block:

I am a resident within the 1400 block of Arthur that has been dealing with the construction due to the new sewers being put in. As a result to this construction, lately we have not been able to park on our road OR even our driveways due to them being completely blocked off (at least within the last month) due to the roads and curbs being done, and that's fine, however in the last 3 months, I have had 3 nails that have gone into my tire in my vehicle, all 3 nails, INTO THE SAME TIRE. One at the start of this construction, and two within the last 3 weeks, once again, in the same tire! Now, I understand nails enter tires sometimes, but 3 in the exact same tire? Two of them being within the last 3 weeks apart. I'm a little concerned that this is no longer a coincidence and more of an act done on purpose. Why you ask? I have no clue. (No I don't have any enemies lol)

My question to you folks is, has anybody else experienced this? I'm a little concerned (as a few others who know the story are thinking the same thing) that this is being done on purpose due to the massive amounts of vehicles having to take up extra parking space on the other streets. Please only comment below if you have any real information to pass along.

I was standing in line at the checkout at FreshCo while the woman in front of me was giving the cashier a tough time on the price of margarine. The cashier, who's pregnant went to double check the price and grabbed her the one that was on sale, still giving her a difficult time and being unnecessarily rude. Had the cashier check with dairy about the price once again, then proceed to yelled at the young man in the dairy section about the price. Then turned her anger back on the cashier. Resulting in making her tear up. I just want to say I hope you feel special making a pregnant woman cry.

Tonight I attended a family gathering on Sandwich Street. After riding around the few blocks I pulled into the Post Office Lot at Mill Street. Knowing I was in the wrong (but running late), I justified it with the Post Office being closed. Not everyone has the opportunity to be dropped off at the door, and some people are even apprehensive to park on side streets and walk in. My wonderful evening was ruined by a $28.25 parking violation. There really was no need for this citation. All you accomplished was to remind me that it is always better to frequent events held only at establishments that have adequate parking. My City of Windsor charity donations will be that amount slimmer this Christmas. Welcome to the City of Windsor and Merry Christmas.
