To the young lady with long dark hair driving a mini van or SUV today (January 4) at 3:00 p.m., travelling east on Erie Street and turning south onto Goyeau Street: "You honked your horn at me while I was crossing at the green light and signalled to me that the orange hand was flashing. I realize that the orange signal signifies to not walk, but I have been crossing at this intersection daily for years and know that the white walking hand rarely comes up and it goes directly to the flashing orange, so according to your expectations, I'd be standing there forever. I know how long I have to cross this particular intersection and it would not have turned from green to yellow for at least another 10 seconds, which is more than ample time for me to walk across. Regardless, you could have extended a little courtesy since you were warm in your car and the temperature outside was frigid. You seemed to be in a hurry, my advice to you is to slow down before you hurt someone and don't be so quick to honk your horn. Also, remember that pedestrians have the right of way, especially if the light is still green". Have a nice day!

Police vans and cars and police in gear outside investor's group on riverside drive at 3:15pm. Nothing on news wondering if anyone has any info?

Whomever took the time to open our back gate, come INTO our yard to steal not one but TWO bikes...shame on you!! Then you left your piece of crap bike in place of two very good bikes. Let's just add insult to injury why don't we?

You lowlife piece of scum! We work hard for the things we have. You stole bikes from teenage girls!! One is a green ten speed with racing handlebars. The other is a black racing mountain bike. You had to case our backyard , you had to walk into MY yard in order to even SEE the bikes. They were not left laying around. Your footprints are in the snow !

Were you coming back to our home for the beer you saw on the deck cooling in the snow? You didn't get that did you? No because my husband brought the beer into the house. So you took my daughters bikes instead. We work hard for the things we provide our kids. We don't work so you, a THIEF , can waltz into our private property and STEAL what you didn't work for! I hope you crash on those bikes and hurt yourself. It might teach you a lesson.

A white Grand Cherokee driving down #3, turning right on arner town line swerving all over and 20km under the speed limit. In case the police havent already responded i'd like this drunk to realize how stupid he or she is. By the way it was 9:00 so even though its new years maybe alcoholism is the issue.

Reminds me of all the people I went to essex high with, driving with beer in their cup holders. Its a shame because they've learned from their parents. Sometime between 12am and 3am december 26th someone hit two cars on howard ave near giles it was a larger vehicle and it completely totaled my car. I must mention as well that they were driving on the wrong side of the road Someone had to have seen something or has seen a large truck with front bumper damage because they left many parts at the scene from their vechile im asking for the publics help to share this information and catch this person if anyone has any information please contact the police

Just wanted to give a heads up for the people that live on the 2500 and 2600 block of Byng and surrounding streets. There has been a man walking up and down the street.(1am-3am) serveral times, checking car doors. Last night a neighbour scared him off by flicking their lights on and off. He ran across the street and hid since he set off motion lights. He was also seen going into peoples mail boxes around 1am. Please lock your cars and doors ...

My 84 yr old Mom was so happy with her laser light decoration blasting the house! On Friday night around 2 am a man in his early 20s (or should I say boy) Jumped out of his late model mini van and boldly unplugged the laser light ..hopped back into his van and made off like the thief in the night he is. Mom hopes that he will enjoy the laser lights as much as she did...or perhaps the person who buys it off of him enjoys the best deal they got this Christmas. Mom figures she already made someones Christmas a little brighter so she doesn't intend to replace it. Wishing all a bright laser lit Christmas this year🎄South Walkerville area. 🎅

If anyone happens to notice a white car possibly a Dodge dart with substantial damage to the front end and badly damaged grill and can get the licence plate number or the person's information please message me or call the police. This person hit my car this morning on George ave around 730am and did quite a bit of damage to my Ford focus. They left the scene. It is not covered under my insurance because I do not have the driver who hit me information.( Name licence plate number etc). I have no collision on my car and because it is a hit it run it is not covered...thank you very much and Merry Christmas
