Ironic that Great Lakes Safety's sidewalk (Neon Green building on Walker Road) is not cleared. I saw a couple of people struggle to walk across the ice and snow covered sidewalk today. For a company that is based upon selling safety products, it's sad that they don't take the time to clear the sidewalk so that people can SAFELY walk in front of the business.

Just a friendly reminder to all Windsor drivers and pedestrians that THIS is called a STOP SIGN, where drivers, bicycles and pedestrians are required by law to STOP and look around them. Waiting for a bus on Essex way and Meadowbrook lane, I watched 12 cars, 2 bicycles, 1 e-bike and 1 person (walking their dog) pass through this intersection, and only 3 cars (and the dog) came to a complete stop. Everyone else sped through or slowed slightly but continued through. As a pedestrian it is terrifying to be standing at an intersection waiting to cross and cars continuously pass without even noticing I'm there, or choosing to ignore my right of way.

To the Veteran Cab driver who drove me and my two children home from food basics on Goyeau around 730pm Saturday night, shame on you for being so rude. I asked for help getting my groceries in as I can't lift too much due to back problems and you very rudely said that it's not your job as I clearly struggled. Thank god my oldest son was smart enough to help his little brother in the cab and come help me. Then when we got to my house, not only did you very rudely tell me to hurry up and get my 3 year old out (he's 3 and likes to do it himself) and yelled at him, you then told me to hurry up and get my groceries out. Yes I was a bit rude back, telling you first that you need to be patient as he is only 3, and then telling you that if you wanted me to get my groceries out faster to get off your lazy a** and help me! You sir, should be ashamed of yourself for yelling at a 3 year old child because he took an extra minute to help himself out it your cab. Thi however was not the first time I had a bad experience with you (I always take note of cab number when I have a bad experience) and from now on I will be refusing service from you.

Spotted: To the woman with teenage son at the eastend Walmart who thought it was funny when your very ignorant song smashed his hands down on the handle of the cart and yell at the older lady in front of him to move her ass!! SHAME ON YOU raising kids entails teaching them respect for others to see you releasing a child like that into the world sickens me..My 5 yr old even pointed out how rude and just wrong that was and to see you laugh shows volumes..Remember the kids we raise today will be the ones running this world later in life and that kinda of attitude is going to get him no where in life! RESPECT IS KEY!!

To all you Bad Sighting Spotters. Since when did you become BIG BROTHER of Windsor? Take care of who did what to you or the person beside you, yourself! Didnt your mother ever tell you not to tattle? I see people do things all the time..If i feel something needs to be said, I say it to the person involved not to everyone on facebook and twitter. Lil less negativity and alot more positivity would be nice

Spotted and Looking for any information on a robbery this morning at Mcdonalds on Outlette and Wyandotte st E.
My cousin was in mcdonalds parking lot around 230am when a black male, tall with a white shirt climbed in the passanger seat of his van. Guy had his hand in his pocket and took my cousin's $100 bill and my sister's wallet. He ran on foot after. Anyone have info please call the police or post here. It could happen to anyone as we never thought it could happen to us. I am willing to pay a reward that leads to capture of this guy.

Spotted: To the car carrier trucks that zoom up and down the streets of Windsor. I just wanted to say that you are very big, and very scary. It is my understanding that you are paid by trip, and not hourly. So I can completely understand your reason for such speeds. But anyone waiting for a bus on Walker road who nearly gets knocked over by the wind you leave behind.. or a new driver trying to learn the rules of the road in addition to watching out for reckless (truck) drivers might not have the same understanding attitude toward your profession. Please slow down and drive safe.
Respectfully,
A concerned Windsorite.

Shame on the teenage girls who tripped the senior citizen at Cineplex Devonshire cinemas American Hustle showing. That was my mom's boyfriend you tripped, who is going in for surgery soon and you just made it worse. When he fell he injured his knee. Karma is a b***h girls and it will find you. Would it be funny if that was your grandparents? Your parents should be ashamed.

Shame on the theatre for not doing anything to compensate the injured. You should have removed the girls and charged them for the other 2 tickets. You don't think seniors go to the movies, so who cares? Not true- they go once or twice a week.
