Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted at the Tec. Rd E Harveys -
Kudos to the staff here after having to endure the harassment and vulgarity spewed forth by a customer who made a scene this afternoon in front of me, my family members and other patrons. You guys kept your cool and "made it right" for her - I would have asked her to promptly leave the establishment. She obviously wasn't getting enough attention today, hasn't learned how to behave herself in the "grown up" world, and decided that trashing you guys loudly, rudely and unjustifiably was the right thing to do. We were disgusted by her behavior - and she continued to be loud and disruptive throughout our meal. You guys, on the other hand, handled the situation as professionals. Good job handling a bad situation Harvey's Guys..
The speed on the EC Row is not 75. Please take note.
To the little Fiat driver...
My husband and boys were outside on the road where we park our vehicles clearing away the ice and water that froze us in yesterday. As they were doing so, and might I add they were not in the middle of the road, they were off to the side of our road, they moved out of your way as you were coming down our road, as well as a van coming in the opposite direction. You looked right at me in the eyes, and so carelessly speed up, almost slid and hit the oncoming van and spinning out almost hitting my husband, kids and myself who was watching all this happen. If you would have hit that van you would have done serious damage to innocent children who were just happy to be helping their dad in doing work outside. I hope that you learn to slow down and drive more careful from now on before you hurt someone. Just because you have a smaller vehicle does not mean you can weave in and out of places recklessly.
Sincerely,
A thankful wife and mother.
To our horrible waitress at Legends last night, you have been spotted! Not only did you bring us the wrong drinks, but when we told you there was a mix-up you fought with us about it! After your manager fixed the drinks, you began blatently ignoring our table, avoiding eye contact anywhere in our direction and when i tried to get your attention you ignored me. We have never had this type of service at the Casino, ever. We eventually resorted to going up to the bar ourselves to get our drinks! Hopefully you see this and realize thats why you got a crappy tip.
Signed, someone who actually likes working in customer service.
Please share! People like this need to be caught! Thank you
SHOT 17 TIMES!!! I am angry beyond all bounds. There is NEVER any excuse for cruelty to animals. This beautiful white cat was walking slowly along the edge of Lakeshore Road, Bright's Grove, ON, just west of the entrance to Mike Weir Park. Being a white cat against the white of a fresh snowfall, I almost hit him, but swerved in time. I pulled off the road and walked back to get him off the road, and discovered blood on his head and face. I picked him up carefully and he licked my hand. Being Sunday, no vets are open, so I took him to the Sarnia Humane Society. They have a vet on emergence call. We saw several pellets lodged in his skull, and the vet was called for emergency surgery. The vet removed 17 air gun pellets from the cat's head and body and had to remove one eye because a pellet was lodged behind the eye.
Whoever did this needs to be found and feel justice. They are a danger to animals and the public. Anyone who would do this to an animal would also do it to a child. Do you know anyone with a pellet gun? Would they commit such an act? Do you know anyone with a lovely white male cat who is missing? Please help hunt this )*^%(%((# scum of the earth down.
If you can help with the cost of surgery it would be most appreciated. Please donate to the Sarnia Humane Society for the care of the Shot White Cat.

To everyone who lives on the 1300 block of Shepherd St E. This goes out to everyone who lives in the apartment on the corner and to all the houses with 2 or more cars. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we have a 6 year old ( the only child and pregnant woman on the street and 3-4 days a week we have to park 2 blocks away. My wife fell for the second time tonight and it's all your fault. 1 car hasn't moved for over a year and there is 2 that have expired tags. Move your cars and have some respect for pregnant women or kids.
To the punk of a kid, who couldn't have been more than 9 or 10 years old at the Adventure bay waterpark on Sunday afternoon, who thought he was entitled to sneak his way to the front of the ride lines time and time again. No parents to be seen. When he got called out on his behavior, he lied like it was second nature, and when people called him on that, his attitude showed through nicely. with some lovely language and hand gestures. Kid, you need to get yourself in check or you have a rough time coming up. People will not stand for your blatant disrespect and entitled-attitude. And to his parents, give your head a shake...your kid needs to learn some basic courtesy and how to follow simple rules and play fair. Unbelievable. I really don't care that this kid is budging in line at a water park, I worry about the stunts and lies he will be telling 10 years from now to get what he wants.
