Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
to the woman in the maroon cavaleer or impla or whatever it was who tried to RAM my van trying to cut in line @ tim hortons. you REALLY didn't need to scream at me like a lunatic, try going in the drive thru lane and u would have a legit spot. but then to make matters worse you go as far as trying to FOLLW me and my kids screaming obscenities at me thru my childrens school zone. you have been SPOTTED chick! go take a nap or get laid or something and stop pushing ur bad mood onto others! its not even 9 am! how uncalled for! you were in the wrong to begin with! smh
To the person who was at aspen lake pond around 7:30 tonight in the blackish fray Mazda hatchback letting your beautiful black dog run along side your car back and forth down the street ... Is it pure laziness ? Do you think it's adorable ? Because it's not . You HEADING TOWARDS MCHUE with your dog running along side isn't the safest thing don't ya think ? What if your dog were to keep running towards traffic? What if your dog ran in front of your car ?
you do not deserve to have an animal , and I wish I was at the other side of that pond in time before you took off to give you an earful .
Please, never do that again -- and if I see it again , I will report your animal abuse
Signed,
The girl WALKING HER DOG ON A LEASH !! , also an avid animal lover
My family and I were driving south on Jefferson @ 9:50 am Easter Sunday morning when there was a man spraying the ditch/ blvd by the road in front of the businesses before Tim Hortons. The air was on in my van and my husband and I inhaled the chemicals right away and were immediately affected, thank heavens my kids were not. We could taste the chemicals and were nauseated and sick all day.
I thought spraying chemicals were banned????
Having left Friday for the holiday weekend, I looked forward to enjoying time with family. Coming back Sunday night, I could not have been more disappointed: The pad to my garage is covered in garbage someone dumped there. Four sofa/ chairs, yard waste and other uncollectables.
This is probably going to cost me, so thank you whoever dumped this. That money could go towards a special night out with my Wife, a fun toy for my child or a new book or movie for myself. Instead, I have to spend my money dumping YOUR trash.
So please, if anyone saw someone dumping garbage on 888 Parent Ave's alley behind the houses, come forward with whatever information you have. Unfortunately the city says it's my responsibility because I don't have proof that it isn't mine so on top of paying to dump all garbage (and renting a vehicle to take it to the dump, at least three trips so a few hours because I'm not using my family van for this) I also have to buy security cameras that can capture video at night (which isn't cheap). Even if you just have a time you saw something suspicious in that alley, I'd love to know *when* to watch it.
Please consider keeping your outdoor cats inside! I'm sick of seeing dozens of cats dead on the roads. This needs to change, clearly they are not meant for outdoors! That along with the tons of Spotted postings of missing cats and dogs makes me sick. Yes, I get mistakes happen and animals sneek out; but to the owners who find their cats wondering along side EC row you should be expecting the worst of the worst! Be proactive and keep them safe, animals are hungry and a lot of people don't give a damn.
Read and sign the petition!
The way these animals are house is appalling!

Thank you WFCU centre... Not only did I get to explain to my two and three year old what disappointment was today, the illustrious Easter egg hunt you so advertised was nothing but a joke leaving hundreds of kids empty handed with disappointment. So the next time you hear of an Easter Egg hunt at the WFCU, feel free to phone ahead and tell them you have donated your canned goods already cause it's cheaper to buy your own chocolate than waste the time and gas going out there.
My sister and a co worker had their cars hit in the front lot of St Clair College while they were working by a hit and run driver!
The first car was hit so badly that it actually pushed that car and my sisters car sideways into the next parking spaces.
Anyone see anything? I know this is a far cry for help and it's a park at your own risk, but c'mon. Drivers are getting way out of hand.
