Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I was there today and needed some help in sporting goods. Two sales associates saw and walked the opposite direction. There was also no button for calling for some assistance. What made me even madder was as I was leaving there were four people in the customer service booth, and three of them were doing nothing! This is not the first time I have been disappointed by the customer service at this store. If any of the management reads this, maybe you should have a talk with your employees.
At least the one on Walker Rd. had a very kind gentleman who was quick to help me.
Heads up Windsorites! It seems we have someone going around stealing bikes allover the city using bolt cutters or some kind of cutting device. Try to get a good quality lock for your bike or keep it out of sight. Make it hard for whoever this loser or losers are who think they can take what they want.
I would like to share these pictures as a reminder that not only do the people in the city of Windsor have struggles but also the creatures have tough ones as well. The one footed seagul.
I just want to show how inconsiderate people really can be. This is what my store looked like when we closed today. I understand working in retail comes with its own stipulations but seriously this is not because of retail.. This is just inconsiderate people with a serious lack of consideration and common courtesy.
Last night my husband, myself and another couple went to Mi Casita for dinner and drinks. We had the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant. One server took our drink order, which took about 10 minutes to get (was not that busy at this time). Another server took our food order, which also took a long time...people that arrived well after us got food before us. It was a special menu because of Cinco de Mayo so there was only a few items on it and we didn't ask for anything out if the ordinary. Got our food but our table did not have any cutlery. We asked our server for some, 10 minutes later still didn't have any so we asked another server for some. She went behind the bar and started getting them ready by rolling them in the napkins. Finally got to eat...food was mediocre at best. We had ordered another round of drinks...still did not have our drinks after waiting 15 minutes. Finally I see the server tell the bartender about our drinks...I waved at her to say we didn't want them. She came to our table 10 minutes later and said you didn't want your drinks? I said no, that took way too long...she said oh well and shrugged her shoulders!!! We ask for our bill, she brings our bill...we got 2 dinners at $10.50 and 2 drinks which was about $10....our bill was $47.02!!!! My husband looked it over and everything was priced right but when it came to the total it was almost $20 in tax...when my husband questioned her about it, she said she didn't know how that happened and went to go fix the bill...this time it was correct. As we were paying a server came around and asked us if we wanted water....what a joke, we weren't asked the whole time about water only when we were leaving...we didn't even have water glasses so I'm sure that process would have taken another 15 minutes. I am not one to complain about service and we remained polite the whole time but you can not treat customers that way and expect to stay in business long! We will never be back and we will be sure to let people know about our experience!
130 am i followed a drunk driiver on mcugh. She pullednto a driveway and fell out of her car. I told her she should be ashamed of herself that she was driving all over the road and she said she was coming from work. Shame on you for driving so stupid and putting others at risk. What a loser.
I have lived on Turner Rd. between Met Hospital and Ypres my whole life and I have never had issues with my neighbours until recently. One of the houses sold to a young man who seems very nice for the most part. He takes care of his property and goes to work during the week. Unfortunately he holds parties every weekend without fail and it is always very loud and disruptive. People are coming in at all kinds of hours, screaming at the top of their lungs outside of the house. Just pure blatant disrespect to those of us who live around him.
This thoroughly disgusts me and makes me look upon younger adults with dislike. I don't want to approach the young man about this because I don't want any issues between us as neighbors but I am losing sleep because of all the noise. I am ready to call the cops and file a complaint.
Any advice out there would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Losing some much needed sleep over here.
To the guy in line behind my daughter at the self checkout at Zehrs in St. Clair Beach. Hope you feel good about not turning in the $200 she left behind in the cash dispenser. She's a student and losing $200 is like losing $2,000 to her. Way to go, hope you have a bang up weekend on her.
